  1) Everything that’s not acceptable to conservatives is equally bad 2) One of those things turns out not to be so bad 3) What else might not be so bad? 4) ??? 5) Kid now is going to hell and, worse, will grow up to vote for someone left of center or become trans or gay or whatever

  That’s the worry. The ideology is fragile. Any single crack in the dam will result in a flood.

  Maybe heterosexuality is a metastable state while homosexuality is a stable ground state. It’s like sexual vacuum decay.
