Those Forbes lists like 30 under 30 are a joke though. Not sure why she’s bragging about that.

Pumping it back into wells as oil is maybe a good idea. If civilization completely collapses back to the Stone Age humanity might never rebuild and advance into an industrial era if there are no more easily accessible fossil fuels. The rapid advancements of humanity of the last two centuries is because of fossil fuels. Of course there is a chance future humans after the apocalypse can advance without fossil fuels. But we don’t know for sure. To give them a fighting chance we have to replenish whatever we took out of the ground. Otherwise they might never advance past a medieval era.
Another idea is to bury tree logs into old mines where it can’t rot so it would turn it would fossilize into coal over centuries.

Why hasn’t the board already fired the CEO? Or is the board just full of family members?
Remember when everyone was on the Guillemots side when they fought to prevent a hostile takeover from Vivendi. The Guillemots became what they feared what Vivendi would have done to the company.

Your brain wants sugar, but the rest of your body not especially your liver. Because your brain is a junkie for sugar.

As long as you have a healthy bodyweight, enough muscle mass and eat enough nutrients it’s fine.
People eat way too much and too often anyway. Many people are pre-diabetic without them knowing it. And it’s because they give their body constantly glucose spikes. 3 meals full of carbs and several sugary snacks throughout the day will slowly damage your body since your body doesn’t likely having so much glucose in the bloodstream.

Commercial digital cinema projectors aren’t even 8K. And movies look sharper then ever. Only 70mm IMAX looks better and that’s equivalent of 8K to 12K but IMAX screens (the real ones not digital LieMAX) are gigantic.
Also screen technology has advanced faster than the rest of the pipeline. Making a movie in a full 8K pipeline would be way too expensive. It’s only since recent years that studios upgraded to a complete 4K pipeline from camera to final rendered out image including every step in between. And that’s mostly because Netflix forced studios to do so.
True native non upscaled 8K content won’t be here for a long while.

It’s independent work, can set your own schedule, never have to interact with a customer IRL like prostitution and it’s fun if you love sex. Beats working under a shitty manager at a fast food restaurant or in retail dealing with Karens on a daily basis.

Not worrying about money anymore is being rich. If you live a comfortable life but it still depends on you having a job than you still worry about money and thus aren’t rich.

I’m surprised that people feel safe to discuss those things in a Slack of a company that creates American Imperialistic propaganda. It’s a certainty that crypto-fascists are among them, no matter how progressive the companies policies are. The stuff they make attracts right wingers.
- Comment on Grand Theft Auto VI and Grand Theft Auto Online Could Be Sold Separately; Rockstar Is Targeting Solid 30 FPS on Consoles, According to Former Animator 2 weeks ago:
For most people the further they sit away from a screen the less they are going to notice it. And console gamers play on a tv from the couch. Of course if you show them a 60fps version after they played in 30fps they will notice but most people don’t understand why that is and thus not care. Like how many people watch movies with motion smoothing on since they don’t see that it looks smoother than the movies in the cinema.
