The install for the 3 games I have on disk for my PS5 takes up less space than the digital versions, and you very much can hear when it’s loading off the disk since the drive is super loud when it’s not just spinning idle.

The only time I hear AI music is when someone sends it to me. And since they usually tell me “they made it with AI,” I don’t actually listen to it. I haven’t used Spotify’s recommendation system for a while, since it became garbage long before AI was around, and I don’t listen to random music like on a radio or live podcast type thing. Occasionally it might be in a meme video, but it’s incredibly rare not least of which is because all the creators I tend to follow and watch also hate AI.

The majority of bot traffic that outnumbers people are just various crawlers and scrapers that never interact with real people beyond what can be done with a single button as it does its shit. If it ever starts to be the majority of the content itself, too, that’s when the internet would actually be dead.

This made me think about how you don’t usually see characters handing things to each other in a single, fluid scene; usually doing the hand-off off camera. But the new 007 game does on screen hand offs a lot and you can see the wonkiness of of the fingers and how the thing being passed just teleports from one hand to another. lol

The shit that says a game is X hours long is about how long it would take someone on the easiest difficulty to simply finish the main story when focusing all their attention on it. It does not include doing anything else, like collecting all the collectibles or doing any side-quests.
