  I like painted bike lanes. I’ve also noticed that painted lanes are more common in wealthy communities in the US.

  This sounds like a local issue. If the majority of taxpayers approve this or at least approve of the mayor, go for it, maybe $3mil is a value choice for them.

  There’s been much dumber expenditures.

  Personally I’d make it a come grab some brushes, the gov will buy the paint and we’ll make a community painting weekend get together thing, but I’m not quite soulless enough for politics just yet.

  I thinks the issue is more that the sentences have been said before. Ai tends to feel vapid because it is a recycling program. It’s lack of genuine creativity makes it feel repetitive even if it generates something slightly unique.

  I’ve been bitching for years that one very good application of AI would be a driving mode overlay that would mute out siren sounds in songs. I’d settle for something that could search my local song library and tag them at least.

  The new galaxy headphones have a siren detection mode, so I feel like we are getting close.

  The AKC is a terrible organization that promotes asthetic breed standards over health. They set the norms and expectations for breeders.

  There is an incredible movement happening primarily in western Europe to breed out brachycephalic traits from pugs both in pure bred lines and by crossing in longer snout breeds. These are known as retropugs or retromops.
