the “bio break” office term is a little strange to me. I am so tempted to be like “I got to take a massive bio break, give me 30”

… Or just don’t put it on Steam. I don’t see why this is so controversial when it protects the players far more to have the refund option.
And just because someone finished and refunded it doesn’t mean they enjoyed it. These devs complaining about people “playing it to the end” then refunding it need to realize that part of it might be their game just isn’t that good.

If your game doesn’t provide more content than 2 hours that’s kinda on you IMO
And I say that as an indie game developer. Like it someone just thought it was neat to play for an hour then they were completely done touching my game… Why would I be shocked they refunded it? They might have refunded it because they expected… Dun dun dunnnn… More content?

Designer clothes are designed clothes. The pretentiousness of looking like you have money was still there, just people do it differently now. You don’t scream “money” by wearing a suit you could’ve got tailored at Macy’s. There’s douchebag designer shit you can wear where it’s clear you spent a lot on it, and people recognize it.
Clothes and dressing nice has always had a pretentious side. Some people used to just be showing off they could afford a suit and nice clothes. Now it doesn’t mean as much. You show off you can afford to spend extra money on designer jeans.

Depends on the clothes. It’s not that I feel physically uncomfortable in a suit, just often socially uncomfortable. However a good suit is often more comfortable than jeans and a holey t-shirt physically. It’s soft, well made and fitted material. It shouldn’t be super uncomfortable.

- Comment on stress 1 week ago:
I don’t think they mean “stop surviving”. They mean, if something extra would normally be extra stressful, like going to a friend’s wedding or hosting in laws for a week, tell them no. Or even just tell your boss “no” now and then. Say you can’t get that done in a week, refuse an unreasonable request here and there.
If you already are doing the bare minimum and still suffering stress… Wtf? Most people doing the bare minimum aren’t that stressed.

Yes… First step buy fancy ice maker that freezes ice in one direction, second step make fancy ice, third step put it in the glass, fourth step pour whiskey on it

I swear some people act so fucking alien about life, like they had not learned some of the most basic things, or lack what you would consider to be the most obvious social skills.
I think some families just royally fucked up their kids heads growing up.

It’s hilarious and sad that people are really so naive to think a few plants have the power to stop this shit. I’ve seen this meme enough on social media now to realize that people have no fucking clue what to do and the shit is going to be built whether people like it or not.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 weeks ago:
I feel like these posts are just honeypots for people who’d actually do something more effective
Like it takes time to plant shit and it’s hilariously ineffective against a place with cameras around it. They will see a dude with a trowel and face mask and bamboo and laugh while they call the cops. Then that person doesn’t do any harm but the intent is very fucking clear and they get charged in court as if they were going to do something actually dangerous. It doesn’t matter that the attempt was pointless… The intent was there, and it’s easy to prove because they probably sent this meme to someone.
This meme is a control tactic, and there’s going to be a few idiots getting arrested with gardening tools near data centers, trying to act like they “accidentally” planted bamboo in the wrong place, meanwhile getting charged with criminal intent after an investigation.
