I don’t want to take your accomplishment from you but this somehow feels like the anecdote about ancient Egyptology being a literal pyramid scheme. i.e. only job you get is a lecturer in ancient Egyptology. My thoughts are known to be highly incoherent so don’t ask how is this even remotely connected. It makes sense in my brain, just roll with it for a while.
Somehow I feel like your achievement wouldn’t be possible without millionaires who can afford regular ski-trips. So you are kinda subsidized by them and the subsidy quota isn’t high as there can only be so many ‘instructors’.

It’s not that all Muslim’s hate dog (1. dislike is not the same as hate, and 2. of course you can’t generalize all muslims dislike dogs). But stricter practitioners of Islam don’t keep dogs for the similar reason they don’t consume pork. Something about dirty animals (haram).
Don’t take my word for it [1] [2] [3]
To quote directly from some scriptures (copy pasted from the third link) :
That the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever acquires a dog - with the exception of a dog to guard livestock, a hunting dog, or a farm dog - each day a Qirat is deducted from his reward. [Abu Dawood]
I heard Allah’s Apostle(P.B.U.H) saying; “Angels (of Mercy) do not enter a house wherein there is a dog or a picture of a living creature (a human being or an animal).” [Hadith - Bukhari 3:515]
I doubt however many Muslims know why they shouldn’t have dogs as pets as usually they are just told by their parents or elders that they shouldn’t. It’s the same thing in all religions.

I have a dog, and I generally agree with the notion.
But, this is about Muslims isn’t it,? I wouldn’t be surprised if there is another one about bacon. This ad is pandering to the populace in the UK who is tending towards racism and xenophobia, most against but not limited to muslims. From market research standpoint, the same populace is probably also big on alcohol consumption so from perspective of market recognition and penetration, this is quite clever.

I honestly preferred no sequls, everytime something new. I haven’t played pyre and hades 2. While I liked hades, I was a bit sad when I heard hades 2, instead of something new.
I’m not an expert, but money (sales) is probably the reason. How many of their previous games sold vs Hades.
Also, maybe it’s a bit cynnical to think of it this way, but hades 2 would require much less effort compared to making something new and it will churn sales as the first one has been a success. Additionally, they probably already had good idea and materials for additions to hades. So why not make hades 2 out of them. Maybe after that they will work on something new.

1 point. Never rented a video from Blockbuster. But did rent VHS/CD/DVD movies from local chain.
- Comment on GOG seems to be considering paid membership option 10 months ago:
The things I would be ok paying a subscription for:
- Rotating free Games that I get to keep. Like epic but only for subscribers. The game should be mine even after I quit the subscription.
- Extra insights in preservation, or goodies
- voting rights on what games should be free next month for the sunscribers.
- discounted price on games.
Things that I feel it shouldnot be locked behind subscription and paywall:
- tool for backing up offline installers
- ability to install previous versions of game
- and definitely not voting rights on games to bring into the preservation program.
If the tooks for backing up offline installers or ability to install previous versions of game are paywalled, that is going to invite more reasons for piracy.
- Comment on Guy never bought a game on the Epic Store... Owns 200+ 1 year ago:
There is legendary which is command line and Heroic which is legendary with gui without telemetry from epic. Heroic also does gog but gog doesnt require a launcher anyways.
Funfact, I have restricted work computer (windows). Certain websites are blocked and installing anything requires remote access by IT to enter admin password (they dont give admin rights temporarily). But it has pip installed.
- pip install legendary
- legendary install app-name
- legendary run app-name
You can also create a shortcut and set the target as ‘legendary run app-name’. I also have over 300 games I collected from epic. I don’t condone gaming on work time, but it feels nice I can run something other than browser games during compiling and other downtime.

Look, everybody always figures the time they live in is the most epic, most important age to end all ages. But tyrants and heroes rise and fall, and historians sort out the pieces."
