Can’t blame you. There are good doctors out there who hate the capitalist system and the insurance companies, but they still have to work within that system.

Yup. And I should say you can find good ones in the U.S., you just never know.
Mine was from New Zealand and worked with one of their Olympic teams. She never cracked my neck but gently massaged and manipulated it to release a whiplash injury after a car accident.
For every one of her, there are 20 quacks who claim they can cure cancer with foot baths.

So far it’s done well for the past 5 years, but it is harder now to find clients because the economy sucks and everyone is struggling (I’m a psychotherapist in the US). I have to plan for periods of drought, and make sure I keep up with marketing and networking.
Honestly, in my field, once you get a good reputation, you will be OK. It’s hard starting out, and I got lucky because I started out during COVID. Tons of demand back then, and some of those clients are still with me. Now I get referrals from clients and fellow therapists because I am established.

I am so happy I decided to change careers and left corporate hell to start my own business. I never have to make sure my mouse moves ever again.

It’s definitely a much smaller community than lemmyshitpost, but we love anything bat-related!

Absolutely accurate. Over 10 years of marriage, we both have seen some shit. And we are still madly in love.

Imagine the amount of mosquitos you could fit if they were inside in the bats’ bellies! They eat like their weight in bugs every night.

I have a better question - why isn’t this posted in the !bats@lemmy.world community? We would love it here. Stealing and crossposting now.

You are not wrong, but I also want to say that the antivax movement started in the UK with Andrew Wakefield. Then US made it way more widespread.

Different sources, I just posted them without any additional blurring.

Bitches that pee loud also pee fast! In and out before you know it. Such an evolutionary advantage, tiger can’t kill when so fast.
Don’t ask me how I know.

- Comment on Is it impolite to crosspost someone else's post to another community on Lemmy without saying anything? 6 days ago:
I think that as long as you use the crosspost function, and it’s visible who the OOP is, you are fine. When my posts get crossposted, I take it as a badge of honor.
