Ngl, given how much the average transfemme enjoys tech and building 40k minifigs, I think they would get some enthuastic volunteers. Hell, a lot of them will bring their own cages.

Could they just leave everything on there then? That would make things SO much easier.

That was awfully nice of him, but then why does he always he sew up the vagina too? Kind of a dick move.

Sure, I’m not saying it’s necessarily a good thing that we’re still using it, but recognizing and treating it as a serious carcinogen rather than something benign goes a long way to improving the amount of harm it causes
- Comment on You could be entitled for compensation 2 weeks ago:
Still is, honestly. We still use asbestos in a ton of stuff, but we’re just generally a lot more careful about using it fortunately, and not doing as many open-air asbestos shoveling competitions upwind from the schoolyard.

Nick Shirley, the “Minnesota Somalian daycare fraud” guy. If you watch him talk, or do much of anything, it is pretty clear he’s not particularly sharp.

Having also been in Colorado and being big into mining at the time, I can tell you that you would have sold when it hit the ATH of $1000, or definitely when MtGox happened and it halved almost overnight. I worked at Microcenter at the time and remember all the people returning GPUs after that crash. Everyone likes to think they would have held this whole time, but you’d have been a fucking greedy idiot if you had seen something so volatile, made 1000x returns and still said “Nah, I’m gonna hold”

In the US we also have places like Rent-A-Center that can be used for that. They tend to be quite predatory and usually target low income people to rent luxury goods they couldn’t normally afford, but I knew someone who’d rent their largest TV for a week for their Superbowl party, and it was a pretty good use for the service.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 month ago:
It’s not something that’s been allowed in the US until very recently. Auto on/off high beams have been a thing for decades, but the selective dimming/“tunneling” only just recently became legal within the past couple of years in the US.
- Comment on If trump is really implicated in Epsteins pedo-ring what is your theory as to why this wasn't leaked by an opposition leader? 1 month ago:
The worst part is that it’s not his relationship that he’s calling a “wonderful secret”, that was literally public knowledge for decades. It’s the child fucking he’s all giddy and “secretive” about

Sort of. He basically said, that as a guy, being attracted to someone AFAB that was extremely masculine, “Hulk Hogan with a pussy” being the direct quote, was gayer than being attracted to someone AMAB that was extremely feminine, “Megan Fox with a dick”.

I’m going to guess that you probably aren’t part of one of the many groups he actively advocated for violence and hatred against.
I don’t celebrate his death, but that a man actively advocating for violence and hate against so many has been silenced.

Eventually, yeah. I had an issue with contacts when I was younger as I have to wear thick toric lenses, which allow very little oxygen through. I would wear them way too long, and I was warned that continuing to do so could cause eventually cause blindness

When we’re hiking 15 miles per day and were drinking 4 gallons of water per person in the New Mexico heat, stopping to set up a fire and boil ~40 gallons of water in the middle of the hike wasn’t really an option. I also appreciated not having to carry 32lbs of water on me all day long.
- Comment on Anon goes camping 9 months ago:
Boiling isn’t necessary. They make antimicrobial tablets you can add as well. We used them when I was on a 2 week backpacking trip and basically just used a bandana folded over 4 times for sediment, fill at the top of the water with the neck facing downstream, and then add a disinfectant tab and let it sit for however long it says. It tasted a bit like pool water if you drank it immediately, but if you filled all your bottles at once, they usually didn’t taste very chlorinated and it was pretty amazing water.

The one thing I will add is that the soul searching isn’t always visible, which was what made it so hard for my family/friends to understand when I came out. To them, it seemed like a very sudden and “snap” decision, when the reality was that I had spent years at that point reflecting and doing soul searching, but was so terrified about what it meant and how they might see me, I never told anyone about it.
I definitely think that this dad did a solid job overall, and even as an adult transitioning in their late 20s, I would have loved this response vs how my parents handled it…
