Different perspective: Man on the in blue/black is having fun on his first ever day in a theme park, man in pink is already used to the ride and is just routinely relaxing in theme parks after work because he got an annual pass one time.

- Comment on Clock logic 5 weeks ago:
there’s 86400 seconds in a day. If we use a new unit that is slightly shorter than a second as a metric second, we can do 100000 metric seconds a day, with 100 metric seconds per metric minutes, and 100 metric minutes per metric hour, and each day having 10 metric hours.
We are only used to the current system because we have been using it.

- Comment on Charging to tour rental properties... 2 months ago:
You pay the downpayment to reserve the spot, so they cannot rent that to someone else once you pay. Touring does not apply the same restriction to the property.

- Comment on Too bad we can't have good public transportation 2 months ago:
Turns out when you decide to build a new city, of course it would be empty at first, then people will eventually move in. But we can’t do that because we need to preserve the artificial scarcity of housing so they can be used as an investment.

it is a misinformation many people in power wants to keep because it lets republicans sell their policies to not tax the rich and bosses to not raise their employee’s salaries.

unless the chance of having a babyman is 100%, there’ll be enough non-babyman to move around, you just need to grab the subgroup of non-babyman rooms and assign each of them a new number, then they can each move to the next number among their own subgroup

- Comment on Anon gives up on Bitcoin in 2010 8 months ago:
I used it once when my rental’s heating was not working well so I used my GPU as a space heater, recoup more than 10x cost of the hardware by mining over half a winter.
- Comment on Anon gives up on Bitcoin in 2010 8 months ago:
BTC also still can remain untracable as long as you only deal any tradings of it with people who don’t keep other logs that tie to your identity. (Cash trades when buying BTC, and products sellers don’t link any deliveries with your BTC transaction)
- Comment on Is anyone planning on doing anything about trump creating a concentration camp at guantanamo bay? 8 months ago:

- Comment on Ordering coffee in the USA triggers me 8 months ago:

bad UI design is also because of capitalism, because the software companies can’t stand just having a working software, they must make some changes in some way and UI is a low hanging fruit.
