I’m not talking about those. The idea here is the apps still loom and behave like local apps.

A drag queen in the area named Serena Hunter. The idea is you get drunk fast. Down this and go on stage. It hits you like a train and everyone gets to watch you deal with it.
- Comment on Me when Valve releases a phone 1 week ago:
Okay there are probably better names but I’m drunk and don’t have access to my full vocabulary at the moment.
Side quest: a Serena Special is jagermeister, goldschlager, rumpleminze, and a splash of 151. It’s not a drink to be enjoyed. It’s a drink with a job to do. A drink with a a career. It pays taxes.
Do with that what you will.

Which they could also use in the promotional materials! Godamnit they have so many options!
- Comment on Me when Valve releases a phone 1 week ago:
Valve: “there are things phones are good at. There are things phones are bad at. And there theres the failed attempts to blur the lines. We here at valve have watched others spin their wheels stuck in the mud with their brilliant efforts to make terrible ideas work. We have a different idea….
What about a phone that just does phone things and when it needs heavier lifting, it doesn’t rape your battery or wallet to get it done? Instead, it seamlessly reaches out to your already powerful gaming rig at home? You install an app on our phone, and that tells your pc at home to install the same app automatically. Now when you tap that icon on the Home Screen, your phone taps into the massive power and connivence of an already working rig at home and streams it to your device!
We are compatible with backbone, Xbox and PlayStation, and of course steam machine controllers.
We here at valve don’t see the merit of spending tons of money marketing a compromise. Sell it once. Do it right. If we do the damn job right, you’ll come back for more. No abusive lock ins.
We call it the steam whistle. Small, portable, cheap, but everyone will notice it.”
Tell me Valve can’t market that.

You know what, value releasing a Linux phone is actually plausible. Like, they could totally do it. Lots of people would like it, they could whether a new market with an idea they would be willing to play to that the establishment absolutely refuses to…
Dude, you joke but this is a plausible path the Linux phones going mainstream.

So I remember playing xenosaga 3 on the PS2. The visual effects on some of the mech attacks were absolutely stunning. It was sooooo pretty.

In this world, there is no dust or dirt and everything looks like an early 2000’s Apple product.

It’s super weird how they care so much about this shit. It’s like they made an HOA into a religion.

They are a monoculture. Nature hates a monoculture. There’s a reason those don’t happen naturally.

Taxes are taken out of your checks before you are even paid. This isn’t practical.
I do have to wonder if everyone stopped paying federal taxes how that would fix over Trump. Like, would he admit he’s powerless against the numerous? Would he just lie and pretend the money is there? Would he just not pay the bills like he has historically done?
It’s fun to imagine what he would do facing adversity.

Going to college purely for a career is a hell of a gamble and the most likely positive outcomes are in fields where everyone fucking hates you (business majors, etc).
Go to improve yourself. Learn all you are interested in. Experience new things. For most jobs, nobody cares what your major is anyway. They care that you can focus on a long term goal and achieve it and a college degree demonstrates that.
- Comment on I genuinely can't wait for Mobile Linux to become a thing 2 months ago:
I’m only using iOS because android is worse. Neither of them make me happy. IOS is just less terrible than Android.
The problem with a Linux phone is that there’s no market for it, and developing one is only possible if you fundamentally change what a Linux phone means thereby ruining it but getting profitability and therefore carrier support and manufacturer profitability.
We don’t get what we want. They do.

No, they are killing it unless you pay and extra $30 a month and use a Microsoft account and kill local accounts.

Windows 10 support is ending soon so there’s no reason to have it on your steam deck. Steam will stop supporting it sooner after Microsoft does, just like steam does with Apples operating system.
