Taxes are taken out of your checks before you are even paid. This isn’t practical.
I do have to wonder if everyone stopped paying federal taxes how that would fix over Trump. Like, would he admit he’s powerless against the numerous? Would he just lie and pretend the money is there? Would he just not pay the bills like he has historically done?
It’s fun to imagine what he would do facing adversity.

Going to college purely for a career is a hell of a gamble and the most likely positive outcomes are in fields where everyone fucking hates you (business majors, etc).
Go to improve yourself. Learn all you are interested in. Experience new things. For most jobs, nobody cares what your major is anyway. They care that you can focus on a long term goal and achieve it and a college degree demonstrates that.

I’m only using iOS because android is worse. Neither of them make me happy. IOS is just less terrible than Android.
The problem with a Linux phone is that there’s no market for it, and developing one is only possible if you fundamentally change what a Linux phone means thereby ruining it but getting profitability and therefore carrier support and manufacturer profitability.
We don’t get what we want. They do.

No, they are killing it unless you pay and extra $30 a month and use a Microsoft account and kill local accounts.

Windows 10 support is ending soon so there’s no reason to have it on your steam deck. Steam will stop supporting it sooner after Microsoft does, just like steam does with Apples operating system.

Microsoft’s kicking third parties out of the kernel because of crowdstrike. Secure boot is a completely different thing Microsoft can’t kick people out of.

- New keys have already been released and you can always just create and enroll your own damn keys. This is sensationalist nonsense.
- “Check my privilege” over secure boot? Calm down, Karen.
- I think gaming on PC is going to get interesting in the coming decade as Microsoft kicks third parties out of the kernel (thanks crowdstrike!) and more and more people just stop putting up with windows. Enterprise in the US is hooked but everyone else? Na, they are gonna drop it.

This is outdated information. Linux has supported secure boot for quite a while now.

- You can run more than one OS with secure boot enabled. It’s just a pain in the ass.
- you can run unsigned code on a secure boot enabled system.
- its 2025, what the fuck do you have that can’t secure boot by now?
- THIS is your winning argument.

I feel bad for the vegans. The base idea is sound. A living creature shouldn’t be turned in a commercial product for multiple reasons. But rather than have a debate about the actual Implications of such an idea, it can reduces and amplified for the stupid people so corporate interests (which include PETA) can make a dollar.
I’d much rather see the brightest minds debate such an idea but instead, capitalism take a priority and so we get “meat is murder.”
I am so tired of trying to include the stupid people.
