      Women prefer, on average, a larger height difference between themselves and their partner (i.e. males being much taller than themselves) than men do. This effect is even more pronounced when examining satisfaction with actual partner height: women are most satisfied when their partner was 21 cm taller, whereas men are most satisfied when they were 8 cm taller than their partner.

      So a roughly average height 5’4" woman, on average, would ideally pick a 6’ tall man, all else held equal.

      By the same kinds of math, on average, men prefer to be ~8cm / ~3 inches taller than their ideal height female partner.

      So a roughly average height man of 5’10" would ideally prefer their gal to be 5’7".

      So I don’t know, you tell me why generally speaking, women ideally prefer their men to be ~8 inches taller than themself, but men ideally prefer being only ~3 inches taller than their women.

      Love is blind. Don’t wedge yourslef inbetween folk who are happily together and are living normal lives. I know a guy that is more than a head taller than his partner, and they are happily together. Heck, it’s she that is more dominant in their partnership xD

      Is such height diff a reason to pay more attention? Maybe. But outright assuming something is wrong just because you’ve got a gut feeling is foul.

      Translation for this person because they’ve rightfully been misunderstood: Why does it seem like there is a disproportionate amount of tall men ending up in relationships with short women? This seems to be a statistical aberration when compared against other factors.

      The answer is societal expectations of tall men/short women, kinks, standard height deviations among genders.

        The dick looks bigger next to a smaller person and you feel more powerful being able to move such a small person around so easily in bed. Gay men have bears and twinks. This isnt just a heterosexual thing. I would know.

        Oh man, I’m giving up on this thread. I seriously don’t know how I could more clearly explain what I’m talking about. I even edited my main comment to no avail. I’M NOT TALKING ABOUT TALL MEN SIMPLY DATING SHORTER WOMEN, my gf is 20cm shorter too. I quite literally meant child-height in relativity.
