All right, I get your point. I meant modern corsets, which do not harm anyone. I see this is not the best place to express such an opinion.

Let me just express an opinion that corsets are fucking sexy

Even with 100.000.000 decimals, this would be not π. An engineer would see no difference, but mathematically this is just different number (even other class of numbers, i.e. rational vs irrational).
- Comment on Happy 3.14 Day 1 week ago:
Still this not equals π.
- Comment on Happy 3.14 Day 1 week ago:
π is not 3.14.

The digits come from the π numer 3,141592…? As a nod to the international day of π?

I noticed that Soviet textbooks were frequentist e.g. Khintchin, while modern textbook by Murphy is Bayesian. The frequentist approach makes more sense to me.

I am so old that I remember that in my country (middle Europe) the proper day to dress the Christmas tree was Christmas Eve. I remember this as something truly special (though I’m an atheist now). But then, capitalism arrived in its full, and now we have Christmas trees since the beginning of November.

Oh yes, the statistical mindset. Similarly, one could argue that for large integers, statistically there is no prime numbers.

You are just overworked and therefore tired. 60h plus kids? It’s a matter of time when your physical and metal health collapse. First thing to do, consider how to move to a 40h per week job. My 4 year old and 1,5 year old sons sleep at 8 or 9 p.m. Could you change the kids habits so you all could go to sleep earlier and thus get more sleep?

I got similar in my pre-lift BMW E46 and I love it. I had also post-lift E46 with buttons for AC, but I prefer the knobs since no need to look at it while driving.
