I like to use 1920s slang to even things out.
Well, got to skedaddle. - Comment on Here's the scoop 2 days ago:
An aside: I found it funny that the Amazon site in your link popped up a captcha to make sure I was not a web crawler or AI trying to steal their data.

It has always depended on enforcement. I had to take a city bus to high school and there was frequently a student or two who would toke up on the buss. Most of the drivers didn’t care and we would all get to school smelling of that nasty shit. This was in the 1970s.
- Comment on What are some good examples of "Where the fuck do you go" kind of games? 4 days ago:
Open ended games, like Minecraft and NMS , can be really hard for people who only play ‘on rails’ type games to wrap their minds around. ‘Whats the point?’, the same one as in living your life.
Also, personal opinion, Stanley Parable is NOT a game. It is a walking simulator with a bunch of bad philosophy thrown in. - Comment on Anon achieves a higher form 1 week ago:
The Kafka story is the singular (sis) and Ovids is the plural (ses). Wikipedia disambiguate does not list them on the same pages, which is confusing.

That is a Fight Club level idea. Radicalize the data entry workers.

If you live in a boarding house or apartment and the man above you comes home late and sits on his bed and takes his shoes off and drops them on the floor. You wait for him to get the second shoe off and drop it.
- Comment on Does the 2 hour refund limit on Steam affect game design? 2 weeks ago:
I will check out utube videos on the game before buying, if the game is over a certain price and a complex game. This will spoil some things, but it is usually not too bad.

- Comment on Are PC handhelds like Steam Deck really competitors for Switch 2? 4 weeks ago:
If you try to buy a game on the deck that isn’t verified to run there you get a warning. Meanwhile you have a limited selection on the switch of over priced games.

My dad would use the term ‘blowing purple smoke up my ass’ to mean someone was lying to him or trying to scam him. Never understood that.

1 point. Never used a boombox. And yes, I have written a check at a store while people waited in line behind me. Their cold angry stares still haunt me.

Is that really true? Could it be they spread this lie so people don’t boycott the concession stand completely?

The carriage could be on a barge and is just being pulled by the horse. How is the horse getting traction? And why is that man using a cane on water! The small balloons could just be artistic license for the drawing.

Not sure how they are walking and not just splashing in place.

‘What a piece of work is a man! How Noble in reason! How infinite in faculty! In form and moving how express and admirable! In Action, how like an Angel, in apprehension, how like a God! The beauty of the world, the paragon of animals—and yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust?’

Kid, you have to bitten by a werecoyote to become one, not a regular coyote.

I used a macro assembler to create assembly programs once. It made the process much easier, at least for the tiny things I did. Can not image a full game.
