‘What a piece of work is a man! How Noble in reason! How infinite in faculty! In form and moving how express and admirable! In Action, how like an Angel, in apprehension, how like a God! The beauty of the world, the paragon of animals—and yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust?’
- Comment on Disappointing coyote attack 2 days ago:
Kid, you have to bitten by a werecoyote to become one, not a regular coyote.

I used a macro assembler to create assembly programs once. It made the process much easier, at least for the tiny things I did. Can not image a full game.

Also becomes airborne easier and can be aspirated. I speak (cough, cough) from experience.

There were some AAA standouts, like Baulder Gate 3 and Hogworts Legacy, that did very well. It is possible if the company focuses on producing a fun user experience.
- Comment on Anyone remember this? 4 weeks ago:
I worked at a company pre-internet that had an Arpanet connection. I started working there as a Cobol programmer and thought this was magic. I later got to set up a dial -up uucp network to customer sites. I think I still have some 300 baud rabbit ears I used to monitor systems from home.
- Comment on Anon stops showering 4 weeks ago:
I have to disagree about the nicer hair. Once the oils in my hair balanced out, my hair was great. It was greasy for about a week and then it just took care of itself.
- Comment on Anon stops showering 4 weeks ago:
I have also not shampooed my hair for an extended period, and you do have to rinse it when you shower. I would put soap on the ends every so often and I had to rinse it with baking soda a few times to remove cooking odors (onions mostly).
No one ever complained about a smell, but people tend not to say things like that. - Comment on Anon envies the boomers 5 weeks ago:

- Comment on Anon visits a bookstore 1 month ago:
It is way harder to share e-books with friends. If you tend to pass books around, you still want paper.
- Comment on Anon visits a bookstore 1 month ago:
I always have a book or author in mind when I go to a book store. I have walked past the displays anon mentions, but they are ‘whats new’ advertising so they are flashy and change often.
My complaint is that the types of books I like are given less and less shelf space every year. Romance and children’s books have mostly replaced science fiction and fantasy. I guess the stores know what sells and stock it. - Comment on For No Reason in Particular Here's a Bunch of Games Where You Kill Nazis 1 month ago:
