I was sick when I was like 9 while sitting on the toilet. The sink was too far away, there was no trash can in sight, and the toilet was in use by my ass. I threw up half digested Chef Boyardee ravioli on the floor on the floor :(

Huh. Sounds like an easy way for the city to generate revenue.

Oh for sure, fuck these companies. I’m just saying don’t take it out on Itch.io and their current scorched earth approach, their hands are tied.
- Comment on First they came for steam, then they came for itch.io . 1 week ago:
I think all games being hit is a temporary measure while they get some sort of new process in place. We’ll see where things land.
Either way, card processing companies shouldn’t be dictating what kind of art consumers can to consume, even if I don’t personally agree with the content of some of the worst offenders. If it’s not outright illegal, they can fuck off.

I’ve been wanting to make a hotspot connected LED matrix in my back window that I can send messages to from my phone for ages now. Imagine Google Assistant integration so I could just say like “hey google, apologize to the car behind me” lol.

Well, considering that’s not astrophysics, I can’t say I’m surprised. Not trying to defend the guy; he can be confidently wrong and a dick at times. I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad about Bill.

Neil does have a PhD. in astrophysics, however.

- Comment on Is anyone else not feeling that patriotic for July 4? 4 weeks ago:
As an immigrant to the US, I’ve always found the blind patriotism commonplace here to be very strange. It feels even more alienating now than ever before.
- Comment on Uber Eats or something idk 4 weeks ago:
New startup: BusGrub.
You put in an order for what you want and pick a timeslot a few hours in the future. E.g. for dinner, you put your order in at like at like noon and pick a 5-7pm window. Then, approaching your scheduled slot, a bus goes all around the area, picking up every order for that slot in the area, then swings around to each drop-off over the course of like two hours.
Result: Everyone enjoys cheaper, but gross soggy food.
Please give me $20 mil starting capital, thanks.

Yeah, they should have sucked it up and made a passionless game, a shell of the former titles. Oh, wait.
- Comment on But I am mighty!! 5 weeks ago:
The average person should almost certainly not be using it, but maybe it would make the difference for extremely sun sensitive people.
- Comment on But I am mighty!! 5 weeks ago:
The nuclear reactions occurring within the sun emit a wide spectrum of radiation, everything from sub-visible thermal radiation to high energy gamma rays. Thankfully, the Earth’s own electromagnetic field and ozone protects us from all but a tiny sliver of ionizing radiation or we wouldn’t be here to talk about it.
