I would also trade this guy’s nut to be 25 again!
EntheoNaut@lemmy.ml 3 hours ago
I’d collect left nuts like a 🐿️ to be only 25!

I would trade my middle nut to be 25

…ok, but now I’m curious. Who is this time lord who offers time travel in exchange for testicles?
Maiq@piefed.zip 4 hours ago
Dr. Whosticles.
teslasdisciple@lemmy.ca 2 hours ago
Oh wait, this isn’t Craigslist, my bad
humorlessrepost@lemmy.world 3 hours ago
Back in my day, the exchange rate was 100 foreskins per miracle. Not sure what that is in testicles.
orenj@leminal.space 3 hours ago
cronos, probably. I wouldn’t bargain with him, he’s known to eat more than just a nut.
zaphod@sopuli.xyz 4 hours ago
I think the problem is that the timelords don’t take left testicles.

My sweet summer child. It just gets worse

Oh what I would give to be 35 again, when you’re 36 like I am you’ll understand how good you have it
radiofreebc@lemmy.world 2 hours ago
I’m happy to be 52 but would gladly trade with you if you don’t appreciate being 25.

I’m in my 40s and each decade of my life has been better than the last. You live and learn. You make mistakes. You grow. You can use that experience to make your quality of life better.
Cut out toxic people, start an exercise routine, learn how to cook good meals, practice your time management skills. Not that I haven’t wasted most of today watching AEW, but I did some sprints this morning so I’m resting.

Oh honey…
it’s just one day, and then you will be 25 years and a day, and two days,…
Anyway have a great Day of Honor and lots of cake :)

Pretend that yesterday you were 40 and you just woke up this morning 25 again. Imagine how young, energetic, hopeful you’ll feel being back in your young body again. Go for a run.

Happy birthday! You don’t need to enjoy your birthdays. I didn’t for years. But you made it and keep your head up my dude/dudette!
mrmisses@lemmy.world 4 hours ago
But now you can rent a car in the United States! Unfortunately you have to be in the United States to do it
Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 4 hours ago
I mean…you could rent a car, and drive to canada.
mrmisses@lemmy.world 3 hours ago
Or Mexico

Twenties are hard. Looking back, sure I would live them again with the knowledge I have now. But never again without this knowledge. This knowledge exists because I lived through my twenties, and they were hard.
Generica@lemmy.world 3 hours ago
I’m 57. Fuck off, all of you. Lol
mycodesucks@lemmy.world 2 hours ago
Don’t worry. They’ll catch up with us eventually.
And everything will be on fire.
jlow@slrpnk.net 4 hours ago
But why! It only gets better and better from here!
Th4tGuyII@fedia.io 3 hours ago
Don't worry friend, in the blink of an eye you'll be saying the same thing about 30.
Besides 25 is a great time. You're likely early in your career so you've got plenty of choices still to make and probably not that much thing you down, and you've likely still got plenty of healthy years left with your body, especially if you put in the work and keep it fit.
db2@lemmy.world 3 hours ago
I’d say it gets better but that hasn’t been my experience so far.
orenj@leminal.space 3 hours ago
ahh don’t worry too much about it. those are the longest years of your adulthood.

Happy birthday! I remember turning 25 and feeling so old. Now I’m in my thirties and it rules. Well, the world sucks, but on a personal level, don’t sweat it. You’ve got plenty to enjoy now and plenty to look forward to.
A comic by Sarah Andersen where she is told as a kid that life is basically over after turning thirty, until she opens a door to ‘life after I turned 30’ and found it was rainbows and flowers

30s. Those were the fun years. Am 61 now and NGL, once you hit 50 and get gray and wrinkles… you find that people will give you even less shit. Which is amazing! Some say that it’s the aches and pains that come of age that suck the most, but I’ve always been a bit on the clumsy side with a high pain threshold, so it’s been a constant since I was a teenager.
