    Happy belatedbirthday, @CaffeineTwo@piefed.world !

25-30 were some of my favorite years. I wish you success, health, and great memories to come.

Twenties are hard. Looking back, sure I would live them again with the knowledge I have now. But never again without this knowledge. This knowledge exists because I lived through my twenties, and they were hard.

It’s a great age. It’s also a great time to start building good habits. If I could go back, I would have spent so much more time developing better sleep and workout habits. Lack of sleep and working out has absolutely wrecked me.

For most people, their peak physical potential is between 25-35.

And peak mental potential is older than that

    Enjoy

25 years and my life is still trying to get up that great big hill of hope for a destination…

25 is a breeze, enjoy your time! Trust, it gets better and better. (The aging part at least, not so sure about the world part lol)

Genuinely disappointed at the lack of prime numbers in my future, why would prime number theorem do us dirty like this??

a low-quality rendition on a cartoon head violently screaming. The words “hip hip hooooraaay” are overlaid

        We are so back

Don’t worry. They’ll catch up with us eventually.

And everything will be on fire.

Don't worry friend, in the blink of an eye you'll be saying the same thing about 30.

Besides 25 is a great time. You're likely early in your career so you've got plenty of choices still to make and probably not that much thing you down, and you've likely still got plenty of healthy years left with your body, especially if you put in the work and keep it fit.

Even if getting old sucks ass, it beats the hell out of the alternative.

  • FreddiesLantern@leminal.space ⁨2⁩ ⁨weeks⁩ ago

Hey, think of it this way, you still have SO much to discover for the first time. Take it from and old fart, really get to know yourself, be ok with yourself. Don’t take shit from anyone.

And if you have someone special in your life, make every moment count. Are we happy? Healthy? Stable? Ok let’s not argue about which movie we’ll watch who gives a shit anyway.

I wish you all the best dear stranger, grab life by the horns because before you know it it’ll pass you by just like that.

  • itsjustachairmary@lemmy.world ⁨2⁩ ⁨weeks⁩ ago

There is only one way stop growing older I’m afraid

My grandma always said ‘getting old is fun. Being old is not.’ And ‘I guess it beats the alternative’ and a legendary ‘folks I’m getting old’ at the ripe old age of 98. My immediate response was ‘well that took you a while then’

Anyway, you’re 25, you’ll be fine, also happy birthday!

Better than aging backwards. Benjamin Button disease takes far too many lives.
