Can confirm.
When Icommuted by bus without doing any activity outside of walking and then needed to sprint (+ fully packed backpack) to get the bus, I’d be floored once reached.
Nowadays by riding bike to work, I get my regular workout and improve my fitness (for the frail future of my senior body) - Comment on Study Finds Biking to Work HALVES Risk of Early Death | Berm Peak 1 week ago:
Due to exercise or due to the way other drivers behave in traffic? :p
Does it take into account the number of exhaust fumes bikers may breathe in? Because my bike commute is 30% near a slow moving high traffic street. So plenty of time to breathe in some lovely exhaust fumes.

Couldnt OP use the boot loader feature of Windows and add their distro as anotger option?

Already fiddling around enough with tge stuff I do with my PC which I installed Win11 on and I am in the EU meaning less BS than the US version (no forced upgrades, no ads (as described by US citizens) and so on).
I use Debian on my server as it’s a tool. Same for my pc. And I have a steamdeck.
And every tool has it’s worth no matter if it’s made from shitty chinesium or baller titanium.
I like the way Windows handles most things and I prefer it over having to fiddle with the way every Linux distro does it’s own thing (and I will never use Ubuntu). - Comment on How's them tariffs going 1 week ago:
It will. And those that knew what they were doing behind the scenes before the public knew probably pulled out way before the market saw what would happen.
Now they will have a feast while the normal joe has a crashed portfolio because it’s not their day job to manage a stock portfolio. - Comment on Nintendo Switch 2 Launches on June 5th Worldwide; 1080p Screen With 120 FPS and HDR Support, Docked Mode 4K Resolution Support Confirmed 2 weeks ago:
Didnt even know Civ had a story. Only played Civ6 and didnt really bother looking to hard as I just expected a turn based strategy game.

And that’s totally okay, if you are fine with it.

You can’t compare open end games like Minecraft and Civ with a mainly story based game like GTA.
What you do after the campaign is your issue.
I just say that it’s understandable if you compare it to traditional media.I will maybe buy it once it’s on sale.
No way in hell will I buy it for full price lol.And the price creep will come because you and me are a very quiet minority in comparison to the casual games that buy a nee console solely to play the newest GTA or CoD.

Got my sream deck. I am fine without a switch.
Nothing lost and if I’d need it, emulation works good enough. - Comment on Nintendo Switch 2 Launches on June 5th Worldwide; 1080p Screen With 120 FPS and HDR Support, Docked Mode 4K Resolution Support Confirmed 2 weeks ago:
At least this game may be worth it if it’s $/h.
Nintendos game might be <40hours long of pure campaign (excluding open world games like pokemon) - Comment on Skill issue 3 weeks ago:

I mentioned one time pay.
If it’s that expensive, I can’t help you (or the devs) because I won’t play it then :-) - Comment on GeoGuessr is making its way to Steam next month after almost 12 years of sticking it out as a browser game 3 weeks ago:
Ain’t no way I’ll pay that.
I would have discussed if it meant a one time payment but hell nah. - Comment on What’s a movie nobody can convince you is good? 4 weeks ago:
I see where you are coming from.
I would interpret that as still some residual force being there but dampened by the parachute lines (meaning a ruler would still see movement relative to the station) and thr amount of screen time couldnt show them drifting away from the station. This would be confirmed by the taut line and the “recoil” after Clooney let loose.
But the force for the amount of time shown is still too much to be logical.
- Comment on What’s a movie nobody can convince you is good? 5 weeks ago:
And that’s totally valid.

I don’t like Iron Man 3 but 1 and 2 are quite enjoyable to me. - Comment on Elon Musk says X hit by 'massive cyber attack' as users unable to log in 5 weeks ago:

The issue is more with recent consoles e.g. Switch and Ps5/xbox
Well…If you want to emulate current gen, prepare to deal with consequences.
I believe Sony/MS turn a sort of blind eye to emulators of old gen if they arent hurting sales and being egregious with their presence (e.g. promote what it can do rather than word of mouth) - Comment on Tried to order a part before the tariffs 1 month ago:
I may don’t know how the law works but I believe (at least in my vountry) if you agree on thr conditions you can’t pull a Darth Vader and alter the conditions after signing/ordering and paying.
Now if there is a clause that states otherwise this may change.
But I agree, at least they are open and upfront with it.

Yes, Reddit bad.
