100% agree. I had Kratt’s Creatures books and lived them, years later when I was babysitting my niece and nephew I saw Zoboomafoo on TV and I was really confused why this puppet was necessary.

Addiction isn’t always a switch, it can be a slow, insidious burn. Be careful and have fun!
- Comment on The did a semi live action movie of the Lion King. Why doesn't hollywood do a movie or a couple seasons of Tail Spin? 3 days ago:
I would spend money if they did a few seasons or a movie of any new IP, but hand drawn/animated.
- Comment on Min wage in most states is so sad 5 days ago:
It could be from macro to much more micro, e.g.: what portion of the budget should be allocated to education? And then how is the budget allocated, etc. everyone must vote in the first few votes and then as the issues get more nitty gritty and local the only people voting are those in the localities and/or those who care. You could vote on everything but realistically you’ll just set the main direction and the rest just happens.
The more you think about this the more complicated it seems, even if the concept isn’t that complicated. I’ve thought about this a lot for a long time and I honestly think we’d get so much more done.

It’s funny, the only kind of mass littering that’s still socially acceptable is people just throwing their cigarette butts on the ground wherever they are. Fucking pigs.
- Comment on Min wage in most states is so sad 5 days ago:
Couldn’t we all just vote on shit regularly from home and do away with representatives altogether?
- Comment on Anon questions the epidemic 1 week ago:
‘Everything circles back to capitalism’ is really a meme because it’s true.
- Comment on Anon questions the epidemic 1 week ago:
It’s a fool who believes that the circumstantial “friends” you make because you happen to be in the same place at the same time are true, ride or die, listen to your problems, give good advice friends.
The former you can make practically anywhere you go, like you said, it’s a meme. The latter are tough, maybe a couple in your whole life kind of encounters. The former will fill a room and you won’t be alone, the latter will take up one seat and you won’t feel lonely. Quantity vs quality.

You can have sex and be a totally toxic bastard that people don’t want to be around once they get to know you. You could have sex frequently but still be deeply lonely.

I think I would light the dude sitting in a chair in the bike lane on fire. What kind of scumbag does that?
- Comment on People are sitting on the bike lane or parking on it. Saint Denis, France 1 week ago:
Probably the same thing that would happen if you did it by accident.

Sounds like a thing girls would come up with, tbh.
My highschool girlfriend used to call a guy “the creeper”.
- Comment on Italian place in South Africa, which means "counterfeit" in Italian (correct me if I'm wrong) 1 week ago:
There’s a chain of (mediocre) pizza places by the same name here too.

Nope. Back corner, why?

Dean with beans. Perfect.
- Comment on She slap yo man's ass at the club, what would you do? 1 week ago:
I’m in “the club”, especially one where randomly molesting someone isn’t an immediate expulsion, I’ve already taken one too many wrong turns and need to rethink my life.
- Comment on currently busy 😅 1 week ago:
YEO!! Then I do my best to hurry because I know what it’s like to have a bathroom emergency.
- Comment on Anon reads nihilist philosophy 1 week ago:
I mean, hedonism isn’t the only option, what about Epicureanism?
- Comment on Anon reads nihilist philosophy 1 week ago:
And yet in almost every one of those examples the problem was people sticking to the existing religions and culture being too terrified to let go or incapable of accepting that others have moved on.
- Comment on Anon reads nihilist philosophy 1 week ago:
I always found his frantic fest if nihilism to be a little adolescent, like “how could humanity possibly survive the death of God? How will we live a life without inherent existential or moral purpose?” You just do, Freddy.

I went to a microbrewery/restaurant recently that had kid’s beer in the menu. It was just juices and stuff, but it still felt fucking scummy.

Bread also.

What kind of lowlife reports a comment like that?
- Comment on Amazon executives are enraged about a Mamdani proposal 4 weeks ago:
Mandani is just straight up doing what every single city, state and what the Fed itself would do if it cared more about the people than enriching investors and friends. It becomes extremely clear when you see him passing little laws like this what capitalists have been doing to regular people while creating a new ruling class of billionaires.
- Comment on Amazon executives are enraged about a Mamdani proposal 4 weeks ago:
100% better.
