They’re also expensive. Could you afford to not work for a month? What if there are 20 people all going on strike? What if the company just hires all new workers in a week or two? Suddenly the idea of trying to endure it doesn’t sound as bad, especially if you have a family.

$500 million budgets probably. Things are different now. Video games aren’t a form of art or interactive storytelling or anything creative. They’re simply made to make a profit, that’s it. Anything else is just a useful side effect. That’s why indie games hit different. People with stories to tell instead of dollars to make. Movies are the same way too.

Basically the government guaranteed loans to college kids, saying you can’t be denied a loan. The idea was to allow anyone the means to better themselves through an education.
Then colleges realized they could raise prices to whatever they wanted and the loans would get approved. Remember you can’t deny someone a loan for college anymore, they don’t check if the prices are “reasonable”.
I’m sure there’s more nuance and other factors to it.

Reminds me of the night I spent reading thru r/bigdickproblems and then went to r/smalldickproblems and was amazed at how very different those two places were. Both have an issue with penis size effecting their sex lives but approach it in very different ways.

Have you ever seen the movie Se7en with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman? I don’t know a single person who wouldn’t do what Brad Pitt did at the end of that movie. Not a single person. And I wouldn’t blame them either.
Just the other day someone posted on here that their uncle died from covid after getting sucked into the alt-right pseudo-medicine rabbit hole. And the comments were all just vile shit like “I’m glad your dumbass uncle died” and “1 down only like 20 million to go”, “good riddance he deserved it” etc. And when I point out shit talking this guy for losing someone he loved is fucked up I get downvoted lol. We can’t even come together online, let alone in person.
Whoever is running things know that we simply cannot get along, we cannot forgive each other, we cannot unite. It’s their greatest tool honestly. Could you forgive maga?
