That’s when you show up… fine… and do fuck all but hang around and listen to music and drink coffee all day.

- Comment on Reddit stock is down 1.99% over the past 3 months 1 week ago:
Oh, it’s more than that. Reddit seems unusually bouncy.
- Comment on Reddit stock is down 1.99% over the past 3 months 1 week ago:
There’s a ton of that going on now. 20.1 mil $ value was 591,000 shares or so.
All the C-suite officers are selling when the market pops and buying back when it dips. Yesterday the share values jumped over 20 bucks.
There is definitely some gaming of the stock going on.

Dude, he didn’t care and doesn’t care about the United States. He’s on track to become a triilionaire and that is all that matters to cretins like him.

3D Alligator pectorals! Yikes… Yup. AI.
- Comment on Ever see something and think maybe you didn't die soon enough 2 weeks ago:
This is disturbing in that it’s either a really bad effort with Photoshop, or AI.
Regardless of which one… Just… ermm.

Yeah, though mine doesn’t flicker as fast - it kinds moves in slow waves.

That is SO true.
The mother of my best friend in high school bred Chihuahuas… They had a bitch named Queenie and it was the nastiest little beast I ever met.
You could not lean down to pick an item off the floor as once you did and the dog was within eyesight, she’d leap at your face snapping and biting at it.
I saw her mom get her hand bitten hard by the animal. Ripped the hell out of her palm. After that, I didn’t go over to their house anymore.
I don’t know if the animal was inbred or what, but it definitely wasn’t right in the head. Foul little creature.

I really have no interest in AI. God knows, I can chat with a wall, a tree, a rock or even the air often enough on my own.
Sometimes I even surprise myself with the answers I get.
- Comment on How bad is it really to listen to music with headphones? My mother told me if I keep doing that I'd go deaf... Is that fearmongering? 3 weeks ago:
Mom’s sorta right, but also not… If you blast the headphones, yeah, of course it’ll eventually screw your hearing. If you leave them at a level, where you’re able to hear the outside world around you, you’l be fine.

I think you can get an OTC cream for that.

Hehehehe. A joint… yaah… the irony meter is off the chart, considering that the state says “don’t drink and drive” yet maintains several state liquor stores that can only be accessed off of the highways.
Oyyyyy…

It is spendy here. We’ve been in the same apartment for decades. Place is funky, for sure, but it’s home and husband used to work for the landlords family when he was a kid, so we all know each other quite well. Heck the daughter that’s running the rentals now, used to sit on the tree branch that was right outside my living room window when she was 8 or 9 and we’d talk to each other.
We live on a second floor - She was a right little squirrel as a kid!

I will look into instgating such a thing.

That fits. I live an hour north of Boston and that is one of the most Bostonian thing… esp. the walking away w/o saying a word. It’s just the Northeast flintiness most native New Englanders have.

That’s not a monitor, it’s an iMac likely from the late teens.
Thing is those will not break like that from just a fist. (I’ve taken them apart and the display panel is pretty shatter resistant, they tend to break in long cracks with little spidering of the panel) Esp, not the way it looks on the very left edge. That was a serious effort with a hammer or something much harder than a knuckle.
Also, I agree with your assessment - there’s no blood on the keyboard or desk or embedded in the glass of the computer itself, and yeah, that kind of damage WILL see blood AND chunks of glass in the knuckles of the hand.
Gotta call fake on this as well. Looks like the kid used a red sharpie on his hand.

WRt the menical, it’s more about getting the person t the point of introspection about their choices of who to belive and follow the politics of.
MOST MAGA folks are in need of a single-payer since they don’t have good enough paying jobs to purchase insurance policies through their work (if it’s offered) that have deductibles and co-pays they can afford. The truth of the matter is that the country has let insurers themselves dictate the conversations around access and affordability - as if! - they and they alone have the answers.

I LOVE Rammstein.
Watch their video Deutschland and you’ll get the gist very quickly of what they think of NAZIs and authoritarian, repressive governments in general.
They are absolutely off their tits.
- Comment on The Guy Claiming That You Have TDS 4 weeks ago:
Well, at least they ARE seeing it now.
At this point, you can work on them to bring it all into focus and the FIRST thing I always say is “you gotta get away from the billionaire controlled cable TV and social media sites…” then I point them to the vanilla news sites that have no editorializing, like AP and Reuters.
If they are open to it, I also point them to using Firefox and adding uBO. Given that sites like fb are now running rage-bait scam ads, the ad-blocking is critical.
A lot of the MAGA folks have been overwhelmed by the noise.
