I can confirm you do not NEED the levitate ability
But it’s a pretty cool ability, so you should get it anyway.

Well, it applies to all EM-waves, not just radio or optical frequency waves. It also applies to acoustic waves.

Maybe there is no right testicle and it’s just two left testicles?
- Comment on Today is my 25th birthday 3 weeks ago:
I think the problem is that the timelords don’t take left testicles.

For me it’s Sony gaining full control about game prices and reselling. You can get disc versions of games for a lot less than in the playstation store.
- Comment on Perfect Rating ⭐/5 3 weeks ago:
Let’s assume 3/5 corresponds to a 50% rating and that this percentage represents the ratio of good, so 50% of the film (not necessarily duration) is good, the other 50% is bad. People generally want a film where the good parts outweigh the bad parts. For a film to be really enjoyable it needs to be way above 50%. Mathematically speaking this means current rating systems have an exponential behaviour. For practical purposes it would be better to have logarithmic rating systems as that would compress bad ratings to a few low numbers and give more nuance to good ratings.

I don’t care much for horror, but I like sci-fi, so I end up watching sci-fi horror films.

Yeah, can’t trust a genie ever, you ask them for a billion euros they just cranks up inflation to infinity.

The remake is great. For example in the mentioned centrifuge level you get to actually fly around (like in Dead Space 2) instead of just pushing off of a surface and flying to another surface (or missing it and dying), makes the game slightly easier. Also some levels were changed in a good way and you can run from the front of the ship all the way to the back now. I think that wasn’t a thing in the original, but makes it more enjoyable to go around the ship and do some more exploration.

As for the story. It gives me major Aliens vibes.
It’s more heavily inspired by Event Horizon, if you like sci-fi horror go watch it.

In the past maybe, but the last two Avatar films didn’t really push any new tech.

Certainly in the Ptolemaic Period, and perhaps already under the Persians (525-343 BC)
I mean that’s about 2000 years after the great pyramids were built.
- Comment on steam machines be like 4 weeks ago:
I don’t think you want to run your processors so hot that you get steam. You’d need some kind of heat exchanger/heat pump in between.
- Comment on Yeah I see you... 4 weeks ago:
I don’t like this “meme”. Hobbies are supposed to be fun, it’s fine to spend money on things you think are fun as long as that spending doesn’t interfere with survival. Just don’t spend all your money on something “someone” (ads, influencers,…) told you might be fun.
- Comment on Alternative medicine 4 weeks ago:
AFAIK there was a correlation in some countries between COVID outcome and deworming meds. In those countries people actually had worms, which weakened the immune system, so taking deworming meds in the end helped with COVID by removing the worms. Obviously it doesn’t do shit if you don’t have worms.
lung/throat/breathing area (don’t know the medical term for the area)
The term you’re looking for is respiratory system, although COVID wasn’t just a respiratory disease.
- Comment on Fallout 5 officially in pre-production, being built on Elder Scrolls VI engine 4 weeks ago:
Elder Scrolls IV used the Gamebryo engine, which is the predecessor/basis of the Creation engine.
