- Comment on Can you scale down a firearm to make an identical looking firearm that fires a different round? 5 weeks ago:
Browning makes a 1911 in .380, it’s an 80% scale of a .45 1911.
- Comment on How do I tame my mustache for handlebar style? 2 months ago:
Mustache wax is essential but practice makes perfect. You can get mustache curlers off Amazon that I have used and provide some serious curls. You still need wax, and you look dumb as hell with them on but the result speak for themselves.
That being said every mustache is different and if yours is like mine, each half will NEVER match. NEVER. NO MATTER HOW MUCH TIME YOU SPEND. Luckily, no one but you will notice or care.

I truly appreciate your opinion, I only have 488 hours but I’ve been playing since alpha 14 or 15. I have been super happy with the overall advancement of the game and game play. Honestly, I haven’t seen a reason why 1.0 is unstable, it is the smoothest, most thought out version I’ve played so far. I feel like The Fun Pimps have been listening to the community and have done such a good job properly addressing real issues.
That being said the issues you seem to be having definitely would annoy the shit out of me, who knows maybe they are I’m just not realizing it (I get overly confident and die alot)
I am and will always be in the ‘wait till it’s done’ crowd of games. While most games seem 60% done at launch, 7days seems closer to 90% and I’m really enjoying it.
I do hope they fix the problems you’re dealing with, and fulfill the promises they’ve made in a timely manner.
Thank you for your consideration, have a wonderful day

- Comment on Does voting for Biden change anything if I live in a deep red area of my state? (Ohio) 5 months ago:
I live in Nebraska and I feel the same way. I got out and vote in every election because that’s my civic duty, if the majority of people in your area with our same feeling actually went out and vote it is possible to become a swing state.
That being said my personal opinion is if you don’t vote you forfeit your right to complain about politics. You didn’t voice your opinion when it was important, so you shouldn’t voice it when it’s not.

- Comment on Is it just me or do Lemmy communities tend to skew left wing? Why might this be? 6 months ago:
One could argue that as alot of us are exredditors we would be the more progressive or left side of the crowd. Something happened we didn’t like so we left it behind for something we hope will be better and put in the effort to make it so as opposed to staying with what we know and really waiting things out before choosing a new direction. It would have been easy to stay with reddit, hell I could go back in an instant and it would be like I never left, but I chose this new path and I’m sticking with it. That is what progress is all about

- Comment on Is it true that addicts never stop being addicts, they just replace their addiction? 8 months ago:
As an addict myself I can say basically yes. Not always to that extreme, think of the smoker who starts eating more. Maybe you get into marathon running? Well that’s just a hobby, right? Maybe or maybe it’s filling that gap alcohol used to fill. It’s hard to say. When you break it down, from my experience, addicts are filling some kind of hole with drugs, so when you take the drugs out most people want to fill that hole. For the short time I was in AA 90% people chained smoked and only drank coffee or soda, the 10% who didn’t found Jesus.
So can some addicts get by without something else, yea probably. But for most, ultimately the hole will be filled, just hope it’s with something positive. For alot of us, it’s just a different drug to be honest.
