But seriously some people should just not interact with the public. It’s a thankless job and you have to have very thick skin and the patience of a saint. I also have a theory that a large percentage of CEOs are sociopaths/psychopaths so …

I had a suite-mate in college that basically had to do this with his neck. His facial hair just kept going all the way down his neck and connected to his thick chest hair. He just picked a line when shaving and stopped.

There just really isn’t use for vitriol like that. It’s just a game people. I’ll just stick to my single player open world games. I have way more fun anyhow.
I loved Warcraft 3. We used to plan LAN games in a little gaming cafe near work at lunch all the time. I never knew DOTA was a W3 mod… Today I learned.

Yeah I know I would. I’m not weak, I just have no tolerance for people being mean to each other for no real reason.

This is why I never play these type of games. We’re all just trying to play and have fun but no, there has to be that one asshole…. ok depending on the game maybe 20 or so
I’m guessing they weren’t loved enough as children, or they still are children. One of the two.
- Comment on 'An embarrassing failure of the US patent system': Videogame IP lawyer says Nintendo's latest patents on Pokémon mechanics 'should not have happened, full stop' 2 weeks ago:
The USPTO is notorious for granting insane patents knowing they are invalid or too vague and expect the court system to be the final arbiter. It’s almost as if they like stirring shit up for there own amusement.
- Comment on Anon doesn't like AI 2 weeks ago:
Yeah the thing that pisses me off the most is the wealthy elite only got wealthy because of the disposable income of a healthy middle class. Without that the whole system collapses. So striving for more and more wealth is only going to hurt everyone in the long run. The worst part is they will be the last to be hurt.

Damn $4300 a month. I thought my $2600 was steep.
Right before we moved my rent had gone up to $2500 so it was a push. Now when we first started living there the rent was $1400 and the landlord had even refied so his mortgage was cheaper at the end. When we were moving up and he drove up in a brand new Rivian that I’m pretty sure I basically paid for…

- Comment on USB-C extensions are not allowed for a reason 5 weeks ago:
No, all USB-C cables do not have hardware to negotiate power (voltage and current). USB-C is simply a connector type like USB-A and USB-B. What you’re referring to is called USB-PD. This is when the charger and device “handshake” to agree on the optimal voltage and current, then adjust dynamically as needed. Yes extensions can be a problem for things like laptops or anything that can draw large current over high voltage. It’s really not any different than trying to run a table saw over a cheap extension cord meant for a lamp or a set of Christmas lights. If you’re using one of the usb extension cables to charge your phone, it’s fine.
