  My 3 terms of intro to o physics were like this. The mechanical engineers that suffered through statics couldn't even bring the curve up too much.

  Even with that, it I didn't have two friends in those classes I never would have passed.

  I have about a 2 to 4 hour period where I can get deep work done. Starting around 10am usually. Sadly I'm in meetings daily until noon so by the time I have cycles my brain is already nearly burned out.
  I got a recent ADHD diagnosis so that and my meds probably are related.

  I work from home and never want to go back, but I don't use the time I used to commute to work. I usually sleep until my dog gets me up and roll into my first meeting

  I just got into romhacking and it's a wild world. I downloaded Mario kart 8 on the super Mario kart engine. Thought it won't run on my SNES clone. Have to try an emulator

  Totally, when I want to learn a new subject in my field I will go find a uni course with a public curriculum and use that to help my studies. It also lets you find books that have ostensibly accurate information

  Having the material doesn't mean you know it unfortunately. You could probably give yourself a PhD level of education yourself with resources publicly available, but you would need to be able to learn on your own, and putting together the curriculum would be a problem since you are starting as a novice at whatever subject it is.

  Iirc the data is etched into the plastic so it might still be recoverable if you could add the reflective layer back. Somebody that knows what they are talking about should correct me though.
