Yeah, it’s not meant to happen (obvi) but especially if it has wear/high usage it can.

brit in the US- it is astounding to me that sometimes a plug can just fall out of the wall on its own

yes it remains to be seen if chatbots are ever capable of obeying any of the laws.
It doesn’t and cant obey all orders, it doesn’t and can’t protect humans, it doesn’t and can’t protect its own existence and it doesn’t or can’t prevent humanity from coming to harm.

That’s the medieval period and men, primarily. You want to look at the Roccoco period and women.

1720 is likely wrong. Most people just didn’t wear enclosed underwear under the early 1800s. Before that you went commando.

I was listening to a podcast the other day and it was saying that in some culture, I forget which, “a man” was defined as “wears a mustache and has a big hat” - because why wouldnt you have those if you could?
Funny how culture thinks it’s the first and last word of a definition
So anyway, this guy has a beard but no mustache, therefore not a man.

yesterday I was trying to make a list at work and every time I had to click away the AI helper because I can just do it faster than AI can and I understand what I’m trying to do and AI can’t.
There’s no way that scrolling past this meme is more annoying.

6/4 I’d call three groups of two, 6/8 two groups of three, but also context is important- a lot of modern writers tend to write in semis and demis, where even 50 years ago they would write in quavers and crotchets.
Also, some jigs and hornpipes are written in 3/2 so YMMV.
- Comment on Aight. Let's be honest. How many of you dress for yourselves, and how many dress for others? 1 month ago:
when I dress for myself it’s usually in funky, slightly silly clothing
when I dress for others it’s as low-effort business casual for a zoom meeting square as possible

I imagine that’s a design consideration.- same with Ultima and other big spells. You get a big payoff after a big wind-up. It’s trying to telegraph that if you want speed you should build your party differently using junctions

listening to the video someone else posted I would absolutely call that 6/8, especially with that strong downbeat on the 1.

I use Tasker to make groups of people who can take me off mute when calling (Partner, parents, best friend) and everything else is controlled by timed DND and mute automations (slightly different for personal and work)
