The only reason I keep Facebook is for unhinged stuff like this
Mebendazole and ivermectin combined to 275mg?
i think ever since covid ivermectin has become a magical cureall for idiots, and the more the betterer as far as the dosage goes.
Pity it isn’t curing us of idiots.
Almost as if it were designed for the weight of a small horse…
But what if they had 17 parasitic infections to remove?
TBF, we don’t know, if they were dense enough to be taking that, we don’t know where they’ve been.
This dude knows his horse dewormer…
It’s also a human dewormer, or many other kinds of parasite. At proper dosage it’s generally a very safe drug. Two things.
I’ve actually met a lot of people who know a lot about what happened to him. Theres an entire industry and field of academics dedicated solely to it and places of business in pretty much every town across the nation for it.
They’re called Doctors.
The amount of people taking antiworm medicine who support a worm brained health guru is too high.
RFKjr is not worm brained!
The brain worm died from starvation!
I thought that they would be the target demographic forna deworming medicine companies.
Unfortunately worms being introduced to the brain is a requirement for an MBA so the machine is building itself
$500 bottle of ivermectin!?!?!
Somehow, that’s the worst part of this to me – somebody got hugely ripped off. I regularly need to buy ivermectin for actual horses, and it’s $10-$15 for a horse-sized dose. And this dumb motherfucker spent $500 on a single bottle?
I know 4 people, who use the horse version. Because they raise cattle they can get it and they use it for themselves. One of them used to help his cancer treatment.
That’s 4 to many.
So you actually want to die
I’m surprised you KNOW four people rather than very specifically KNEW, past tense, four people…
Because they raise cattle they can get it
Anybody can get it.
Walk into a Tractor Supply, North 40, or any animal feed/supply store, and you can pick some up right off the shelf.
For a while there, curing covid mania, cashiers were actually asking people for a picture of their livestock before they’d sell it to you, but even then you could have just shown them any picture of any horse and that would have been enough.
The text on this post is fabricated, and the image in unrelated to the fabricated story. >.>
Please, no emotions.
Is “lol” an emotion?
Please no emotions as I am a looksmaxxibg robot that only cares about looking great and being confused why women don’t like me
Have you tried injecting gold?
Feruchemy is the future!!! (god i hope sanderson’s movie deals work out)
Explanation: You’re a gullible idiot. Don’t worry, I’ll be sure and tell everyone at your funeral.
How optimistic of you, we both know Biden would be to blame.
Depending on his weight that could be quite a high dose of ivermectin (the normal dose is 0.2mg/kg) but that seems like an extreme reaction.
I see three possibilities:
Or the company who sold it sold fake or cut drugs.
He also has mebendezol
mebendezol
Never heard of it so probably not a great recreational drug. Oooh Wikipedia confirms
Mebendazole is a highly effective, broad-spectrum antihelmintic indicated for the treatment of nematode infestations
Mebendazole sometimes causes diarrhea, abdominal pain, and elevated liver enzymes. In rare cases, it has been associated with a dangerously low white blood cell count, low platelet count, and hair loss,[14][15] with a risk of agranulocytosis in rare cases.
My money is on the last one
I don’t get it.
This guy is taking medical advice from conspiracy theorists for COVID. he ODed on dewormer meds and is posting from.the inside of the ambulance
See, I’m not a native speaker, so I thought a “wellness company” was something like a hospital.
Yeah, but I’ll be he doesn’t have horse worms anymore!
I’m guessing the paramedics called him a fucking idiot and he didn’t like that so he wants someone to tell him how close he was to the truth so he can go right back to dosin up on dewormer and cat shit.
Because obviously deworming meds will take care of symptoms that are linked to the lung/throat/breathing area (don’t know the medical term for the area)
From Google AI:
Ivermectin and mebendazole are both antiparasitic medications. While used for treating worms, combining high doses, such as those often discussed in off-label contexts, is controversial and frequently marketed without clinical backing.
Standard antiparasitic regimens are dosed by weight or specific infection type, often as single or short-term oral doses. The FDA-approved dosages for these drugs are established to treat specific parasitic infections.
High-dose combinations of ivermectin and mebendazole, sometimes compounded by specialty pharmacies, have surfaced online as an unproven, off-label regimen, including claims regarding cancer therapy. Medical and oncology associations strongly advise against using these antiparasitic drugs as a cancer treatment, as there is no established clinical evidence of their safety or effectiveness for this purpose.
Why did you think anyone wanted to see copy-pasted AI slop? Why did you think that was an appropriate thing to post?
ai;dr
Oh, got it. Thanks!
One less voter for magastan I hope
Is there a Near-Darwin Award?
Y’all always love eugenics jokes. And like always, before you get pissed about me telling you that this is a eugenics joke, yes, equating evolution with intelligence is reliant on eugenicist notions of natural human ability and evolution as a process that picks out the “bad” or “weak” elements of a species.
Darwinism is a concept that only refers to how traits are passed on, not what normative values those traits have. What you’re referring to is more akin to social-Darwinism, which was a pseudoscientific concept that emerged as a catch-all rationalization of social inequities along the lines of arbitrary social values like industriousness, naturalized class, racism, ableism, etc.
Unsurprisingly, it was popular among Nazis. I hope you understand the irony in applying it here to make fun of a person who subscries to an anti-science concept promoted by fascists.
i naturally selected to downvote this.
How about you and your strawman find a room, since you see really into it.
The down votes you’re receiving are social Darwinism in action lmao. An idiot killing thselves through their own choices is not eugenics. But it is something we can all appreciate, and before you say it, NO I do not think we should be making the world safer for idiots. If you’re too stupid to survive the day to day and do shit like the OP then good riddance.
And these people get to vote…
Bad news, OOP — killing yourself will give you more worms, not fewer.
Not if they get cremated!
I have a theory sir: you are an idiot!
Fake. Not the right price. Not the right dosage. Not a likely reaction even at that dose.
It’s the demons leaving your blood and mitochondria. Keep going, up the dose, and make sure you give a bunch to all your idiot friends
Let’s come down from our high horse. Healthcare will become more and more expensive and people will have to treat themselves with chatgpt. Misjudgements will become a regular thing.
That’s totally fine. I have a book by a native American grandmother explaining the use for local plants and they work. This, however, does nothing unless you have a parasite. Taking it for anything else is dangerous and ineffective.
I doubt even chat gpt would advise ivermectin for human consumption.
Ivermectin is in fact used in human medicine, but the tablets come from real pharmaceutical providers, not some random wellness company. Most importantly they are used with a specific indication, not as some sort of wonder pill like the maga dipshits.
high horse
I see what you did there
But that’s what they want?
Sure, is that what happened here?
The problem is that they stopped after the first pill. Shpuls have powered through and taken more to normalize BP and pulse

If “alternative medicine” worked, it would just be called “medicine“.
Senal@programming.dev 1 day ago
Im all on the “listen to the medical experts” train.
There are however some medicines and treatments that legitimately started as “alternative”.
A lot of it is horseshit though.
Also modern medicine isn’t infallible(nor the people that practice it).
Statistically though, it’s fucking high magic compared to most internet sourced diagnoses.
Mediocre_Bard_Redeux@lemmy.world 1 day ago
Have friends in the medical field, a lot of time they are just sort of trying shit and then are happy it worked.
Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 1 day ago
The difference between medicine and “alternative medicine” is proof of effectiveness. If something provably works it’s medicine.
fizzle@quokk.au 1 day ago
“Alternative medicine” is too broad a term to be helpful.
Jarix@lemmy.world 1 day ago
The quote is from Tim Minchin. I think the track name is Storm.
It’s him talking to someone at a dinner party and he’s trying to bite his tongue when someone new starts talking stupidity, but it gets to a point where he breaks and goes off on a rent.
It’s a very well written and entertaining but.
What what’s missing from the quote is something along the lines of “You know what they call alternate medicine that is proven to work? Medicine”
The whole point of the quote is exactly what you are saying that some medicines legitimately started as alternative medicines
Viceversa@lemmy.world 1 day ago
What are those?
ignotum@lemmy.world 1 day ago
The issue is that alternative forms of medicine are most often studied scientifically and either found to work (upgraded to medicine) but more often than not it is found to have no greater effect than placebo or random chance, but these alternatives continue to be practiced, meaning people end up getting ineffective care, and their money is funneled into an industry incentivised to discredit and spread distrust towards real proven medicine
njordomir@lemmy.world 1 day ago
Well said. A balanced viewpoint that doesn’t try to be all black and white. Even the stupidest bullshit can sometimes contain a kernel of truth. That doesn’t mean the 99% bullshit isn’t any less shit.
postmateDumbass@lemmy.world 23 hours ago
George Carlin from the grave: By calling it an ‘alternative’ you are directly implying that it is not the actual thing.
homes@piefed.world 23 hours ago
I miss that guy
HerbGrower@slrpnk.net 1 day ago
To be fair this is actually medicine they are taking. Not sure why you would take it recreationally though.
homes@piefed.world 1 day ago
Ivermectin is medicine for horses
dillekant@slrpnk.net 1 day ago
It’s not alternative medicine though? It’s like regular medicine but instead of it being prescribed he just thought he’d ingest some based on his own whims.
homes@piefed.world 1 day ago
You misunderstand
I’m speaking of “medicine”, as in the practice there of. You’re thinking of “medication“. That’s not what I’m talking about.
