It’s predictable because that’s how our brains work- we need context to understand such large numbers, so until you have the context, you skip parsing it.
- Comment on If proton decay isn't true 2 weeks ago:
Elements with a proton number less than or greater than iron become more stable as they approach iron, and so, over very, very long timeframes, from random quantum tunnelling effects, will favour being iron over being other elements.
Thus, in 10^~1500 years, virtually all atoms in the universe will turn into iron, assuming protons don’t decay (which may or may not happen).

Poetry was always about bringing an element of playfulness to language- if it brings you joy, do it.

Is it surprising though? Natural fruit doesn’t have the same shelf life as modern farmed fruit, so it’ll start fermenting in just a few days - add in alcohol having a lot of calories, and so the chimpanzees naturally won’t skip out on it either.

It’s long been a fan Theory that Superman can cover some form of durability to the items he handles, otherwise a lot of the larger items he handles would crumble/collapse under their own weight, or people he carries would be crushed/chopped to chunks.

Bottle gourds are still eaten pretty regularly in India, and I suspect, other parts of the world too.
Yep, I just checked Wikipedia, and yes, tons of purple around the world still eat it.

The first part is not feasible, since the microbiome has thousands, if not tens of thousands, of distinct species, we aren’t at a point where we could individually isolate, analyse, and reproduce all of these strains successfully.

This actually seems quite reasonable, it can give you a pretty good idea of how strong winds are if you’ve not experienced the distance between 40kmph and 60kmph before
