There is no comparison between any Republican and any Democrat. The worst Democrat is probably Fetterman, who became more conservative after a traumatic brain injury, the only DNC senator to support funding the ICE, and even he opposed 11 Trump cabinet appointments while the most any Republican opposed was 3, Mitch McConnell. Every Democrat is better than every Republican, hands down.

Chuck Schumer’s seat was won January 2025 and he won’t be up for another election until 2028, so this post is essentially useless for all purposes except attacking the party as a whole before the 2026 midterm elections.

And to illustrate the impact that action had: Donald Trump was the first Conservative to win the youth vote in decades, since 1988.

NATO is always a great phrase to sort the wheat from the chaff. Any Anarchist or Democratic Socialist with two brain cells to rub together sees that a mutual defense pact just makes sense and has prevented war and will prevent further war. But Tankies? The strangest part about this whole diatribe is the assumption that developmental disabilities or neuroatypicality are even hereditary in the first place. Every race has about 1 to 4 in 1,000 for autism with minute variations between, for example.

Liberalism is the advocacy for human rights and freedoms so long as they don’t impede upon the rights and freedoms of others. In practice it requires a democratic state to enforce equal treatment and freedoms. Examples such as making slavery and segregation illegal, mandating equal housing and employment opportunity, or covering the expenses of impoverished citizen’s medical and education.
It’s had the similar definition of “promotes freedom” for thousands of years and in early 20th century France the words liberalism and neoliberalism were commonly used to describe a system of fair and regulated markets distinctly distant from laissez-faire and socialism.
The most common opponents to Liberalism and Liberals are Tankies, who support eastern bloc dictatorships, and Conservatives, who support western bloc dictatorships. Because of this I automatically assume people who use liberal or neoliberal as a slur are opponents of human rights.

I think my definition of the word liberal is the classical usage and yours is the colloquial usage, though. Liberal’s bare definition is “an advocate for human rights, freedoms, and liberties as long as those freedoms do not infringe upon the rights of others.” In practice this is not unregulated capitalism because an unregulated capitalism does not respect individual rights, a democratic state must exist to uphold those rights.
Generally, the sort of people I see complaining about LiBruLZ are Tankies: proponents of eastern bloc dictatorships, or Conservatives: proponents of western bloc dictatorships.

If the populous were more liberal I think there would be a lot less “injuries of capitalism to the body” or if it were much much more liberal at least there would be a legal avenue to assisted suicide for the elderly and sick.
