If all people need to be in an ideal state for it to actually happen, then it’s irrelevant because even if we managed to get the world to that state whatever got us there would have already proven it’s worth beyond being cast aside to try out some other economic ideology.

When I was a kid I dreamed about VR RPGs where you’d run around swinging the sword… like 10 minutes of that had me back to using a controller. The real first person point of view is amazing, but It’s plenty realistic enough for me to be controlling it with a gamepad.

The words people use tend to vary a great deal depending on your acquaintances and the local culture. Many people would use the same word, for the same simple reason. Because the word fits.
No, I’m not trying to hide behind anything. You’re stuck in your narrow world view where everyone who doesn’t cite your expected manifesto must be a bad person. It taints how you see everything. Hopefully you grow out of that.

You don’t seem to understand that fetish and sexual fetish are different things. One definition of a fetish is a fixation. I tried to explain that and instead of reading or looking up the definition of the word for yourself you revert back to the tribalism and down voting.

I used the word fetish because it’s inaccurate use of the word. Like many words fetish has multiple meanings. In this instance trans Spiderman thing is a fixation on both the character and it’s gender.

If it’s never “real” communism because for it to be “real” communism it has to take place in an ideal civilization where all people are pure and good and no person would ever abuse whatever authority or power they have over distribution for their own personal gain… that’s an inherent flaw.
It’s the same inherent flaw that turns capitalism into child grinding factories. You have to take human nature into account. They’re always going to be shitty people, and shitty people tend to like getting themselves into positions of power.
If for an economic ideology to be actually viable All humans must undergo a lobotomy beforehand it’s useless in the real world.

It seems as stupid as the focus on immigrants and skin color. It doesn’t really matter what the people in power are calling their economic policy if they’re using it to fuck everyone else to death.
Just another thing for people to feel like their petty bickering over is righteous and somehow going to make the world better while the world keeps getting decidedly not better.

It’s never “real communism”, because real communism is an ideal thing that can only actually happen when no one in any position of power abuses that for personal gain. No matter how many times it’s tried, people exist and will fuck it up. The same type of people who turn capitalism into baby crushing factories.
