New Vegas needs it to.
I love the fuck out of the game, but its heavily handicapped by its need to fit within console limitations at the time of its release… Not only that, its just full of jank.
A remaster is not capable of addressing the core issues that need addressing with New Vegas, especially with no source code.
A remake is the only way to get a solid, amazing update to New Vegas that will endure for another 16+ years.

the best thing about a remake for either Fallout 3 or New Vegas, it’d do a significant chunk of the work for remaking the other one.
So having them bundled into one remake bundle would be fantastic.

Outer Worlds was fantastic.
Can you make legitimate criticisms about some of it? Sure. You can make legitimate criticisms about anything.
But the overwhelming amount of hate I’ve seen was from fanboys who deluded themselves into thinking it was gonna be New Vegas in space, When nothing even remotely close to that was hinted.
Also, they’ve made a TON of fantastic games.
Alpha Protocol was a mindblowing game with a depth and complexity that still makes it playable today, 16 years later (technically it came out before New Vegas, but Alpha Protocol doesnt get enough love so I’ll mention it when ever I can)
As for post-New Vegas games…
Stick of Truth was wildly succesful
Pillars of Eternity was wildly successful, and created a franchise for them.
Tyranny was fantastic and fresh
Outer Worlds I already covered.
Never played Grounded but it must be wildly fuckin popular to be getting a sequel and a TV show.

I love factorio. I’ve owned it before they even had building rockets in the game. Played the shit out of it.
I dont know if its cause the game got more expansive and complicated, or if I just got old and stupid… but I just cant play it anymore. I can get a base started… but after an hour or 3 I just start struggling and give up.
I miss factorio.

Lowest price history for cyberpunk 2077 is 20 bucks. 20 bucks for a 5 year old game is ridiculously overpriced.
Grand Theft Auto never goes under 15 dollars, which is over priced for how old the game is.
I personally wouldnt consider borderlands AAA games, but congratulations, you found the one game that had an actual legitimate sale and age related price drop with Elite: Dangerous, with the base games lowest sale price recorded as 2 bucks. WIth it currently on sale for 5. for a 11 year old game. Which is what the prices should be for an old game, and what all the other games should be doing once they are out of their content window.
Also, you don’t have to be so goddamn dismissive and hostile. I gave an example of my argument. Did you expect me to spend 3 weeks researching so i could produce a scientific paper detailing every game that is over priced?

AAA games rarely go on sale anymore, Dragon Quest Builders 2 is like 7 years old, and still 50 bucks, and last sale it went down to 25. 25 for a 7 year old game is just brutal absurdity.
and I just use that as an example, its the same almost across the entire board.
The only saving grace in gaming right now is indie games. Which are typically affordable.

Nvidia is destroying gaming.
They started the destruction with the idea of 4k gaming.
When they realized native 4k gaming wasnt going to be feasible… They knocked gaming to the ground and started kicking it in the ribs with this upscaling bullshit, because who doesnt live a 1080p picture shittily stretched to 4k?
And they curb stomped it by making video cards cost more than what most people make in a fucking month.
