Zoomers all have internet. Enough of them study economics or politics. There is not another Occupy Wall Street. Do all the clever people already have good paying jobs?
- Comment on Bernie Sanders says that if AI makes us so productive, we should get a 4-day work week 2 weeks ago:
it is time for the party to embrace what he has long been arguing for and make backing unions a core part of their pitch to voters. They must decide, Sanders said, whether to “become a party which stands for the working class of this country” or to “remain a corporately controlled party beholden to [their] wealthy campaign contributors and to the corporate media as well
Seems that you are right.

Where does he do?
- Comment on Bernie Sanders says that if AI makes us so productive, we should get a 4-day work week 2 weeks ago:
Let’s use technology to benefit workers," Sanders said.
That’s Socialist thinking in a Capitalist country. He doesn’t own the means of production to change the schedules. In a Capitalist country you need the market power to negotiate for it.
So call for unionizing because the opportunity is there.
He doesn’t, so it is a distraction.

No. However many things are regulated.
- Comment on Arts & STEM 2 weeks ago:
I have no point. I just want to know how those things should be organized if not as businesses. USSR had businesses, so to work without them, something else must be used to link everything together.
like logistics, actuary/risk assessment, and public relations

Then don’t allow them to use those services without a license. It’s cars or chemicals all over again.
- Comment on Arts & STEM 2 weeks ago:
Yes. How should all of that be done?
- Comment on Arts & STEM 2 weeks ago:
No.
But that doesn’t scale. How should society organize for mobile phones?
- Comment on Arts & STEM 2 weeks ago:
Nor every, but how do you handle the transactions to design, build and operate a mobile phone?
- Comment on Arts & STEM 2 weeks ago:
How do you organize society then?
- Comment on Arts & STEM 2 weeks ago:
So, how can society overcome the rift?

The US was isolationist prior to WWII

Would the USA go to war against China to prevent China from becoming the hegemon? If so, what is the strategic relevance of Iran for China? At least right now Iran is an important source for oil but that could also come from Russia.

Almost all cruelties are committed for the greater good. People just disagree on what is good.

- Comment on Techno feudalism, here we come 1 month ago:
It’s like machines replacing farm hands. It’s the end of feudalism because the peasants are not needed anymore. The feudal lords won’t make the profits but the factory owners and the mining owners.
If the AI companies are the mines, what are the factories?
With AI, essentially everybody starts at middle management or above because the grunt work is automated. Now it’s all about allocating resources, acquiring clients and creating new products.
Somebody has to monitor the AIs and write the prompts. It’s middle management for everybody.
