I actually just got back into it since I never finished the main quest line and it’s actually more fun to play now, big fixes and optimization for the series S/X made load screens instant and I’m blazing through stuff a lot faster.

I burnt a hole in my grandmas passenger seat and got grounded for a week while I cleaned the whole interior

I should clarify…Diablo is trying to do the same all heat no flavor but is not actually that spicy, and tastes bad to boot.

It’s like Da Bomb sauce on Hot Ones, it’s not even good they just try to make it burn except it’s not hot either

Someone better give him a new sound byte before he tries carving up the Gerald Ford for maga fridge magnets

We had a 70s F-350 flatbed with no power steering for hauling stuff around the farm. Actually driving the truck was as much of a workout as loading the bed

Having hypothetically done similar things with work printers, there’s also a lesson to be learned about not using too much paper and ink in one go, space it out over a few restocks.

I think Soldier Boy is Cap, Homelander is capitalist American (whom the Nazis took a lot of inspiration from) Superman. In any case the satire is well and truly lost on the people it’s aimed at.

Also DOS, the single button on the Mac mouse was a whole new way of using a computer.

I bought a $15 cordless screwdriver for this exact reason and it’s great. No need to drag out the whole 18v drill but it makes fastening things much quicker and the built in torque limiter means I can cinch every bolt in a chair up to the same spec easily.

They have driven out other grocers and created a food desert monopoly in some rural areas but yeah sure, let’s blame the people buying food and not the mega corp.

Let me go though your phone real quick, if you have nothing to hide it shouldn’t be a problem right?
- Comment on Never buying milk from Walmart again 4 weeks ago:
Even without adjusting the thermostat, those cooler doors are being opened and closed thousands of times a day, there’s no way everything inside stays chilled. Not to mention the folks who grab dairy products then leave them next to the beer or electronics when decisions were made…that milk with an Oct 31 date may have sat under a heater vent for hours before someone put it back in the fridge.
- Comment on Scientists have been studying remote work for four years and have reached a very clear conclusion: “Working from home makes us thrive” 4 weeks ago:
It’s also how I got into a head on collision when some oblivious guy who pulled out in a left turn with oncoming headlights (me) driving straight in the lane. Close to home like most crashes are statistically, had I not been made to drive down to the office building then the rental car and repairs would ever have been needed. There are costs everywhere that can be factored into this

Also had the VHS and watched it constantly. I drink a ton of water after living in the desert for years and still think of Kitana saying “use the element that brings life” occasionally while topping off my bottle. Said it to my gf once when she was poking fun at me for filling my bottle again so soon and she had no clue what I was talking about so that joke flew like a penguin

You’re not wrong, but at some point a Nazi in the streets going to have to catch a bullet or this will continue until there is no one left to speak up for anyone. The issue is coordination

Agreed, my favorite doctor after Bones, although it does hurt my heart a bit to see him old like Riker in Picard. I recently restarted TNG and they put Bones in old man makeup for the handoff episode…time itself is enough :(

- Comment on Phineas explains nuclear power (and how fear mongering ruined it) 1 month ago:
Let’s all take a minute to remember that Greenpeace was founded and funded by oil companies to spread propaganda directly opposite all these points. As you said, Chernobyl was the only one to actually impact surrounding populations and it was entirely due to the USSR cutting corners, not testing the emergency backup system properly, and trying to cover it all up before actually starting to clean up.
- Comment on Woof is dog for "You may test that assumption at your convenience" 1 month ago:
My dog is usually a chaos demon but if you’re feeling particularly down she will grab one of her toys and keep pushing it into your hands until you play with her as a distraction. Dogs are incredibly emotionally sensitive and empathetic and sometimes that wet snuffling nose is the only thing that gets me out of bed
