“Strong” as in a very brief period in the 1930s the Nazis worked with Zionists to get Jews into Palestine.
I think you would have a very difficult time making the case that they have had a strong link ever since or consistently for any period in history including right now.

The US didn’t even get the excuse of being forced to pay obscenely high war reparations to justify their fascism. Instead, it’s dissatisfaction with inflation which, in turn, is the predictable combination of the exponential depletion of scarce resources (real estate, water) and the consolidation of property into the hands of an ultra wealthy minority. If one must frame the emergence of fascism in a “war” context, then the cause is plutocrat beligerantes strategically fighting a social class war while most of everyone else think it’s a culture war.

Hard for me to predict.
On one hand, I fit perfectly in into the Aryan aesthetic. Pale, but not albino, fair hair, blue eyes, male, straight, with a protestant Anglo-Saxon upbringing, with a moderate income and useful job.
On the other hand, I have problems with authority, keeping my mouth shut when I should, and don’t intend to make it easy for people to get purged.
Actually probably not that hard for me to predict. I’ll give it a year

In Nazi-Germany you probably would have been one of the first the Nazis took away. One strategy of them was to curbstomp immediately any defiance in the population. They were successful.
Under the Magas? Who knows, you might hold out a few years. My guess is about 3 years max, they’d want to consolidate before the coronation, erm, I mean the the next „election“.

I don’t think devils advocates or people that see life as shades of grey rather than black and white are default Nazi’s, but I understand that the US is an emotionally turbulent place right now.

They aren’t, and the reason is that if you look at videos of those moments, instead of a very carefully picked still frame, you’ll see that they were all quite clearly doing something else, either waving or starting to wave, pointing to something, and so on.
But I won’t argue with brainwashed idiots, there is no point. I come from a country where fascism has destroyed the lives of so many people. You have no idea what a totalitarian government is and cannot recognize it, but you’ll soon find out. In time, you’ll see what a bunch of imbeciles you all are once it starts biting you in the ass as well.

Elon is supposedly on the spectrum, so he could have done it to show his excitement, without realizing the true meanings and implications. Of course it’s possible that he did in fact know what he was doing, if so then it’s a completely different story….
