I’ve not seen that; it sounds crazy distracting.
- Comment on Why isn’t "Democrats would never get away with this" seen as a problem for the left?” 2 weeks ago:
I read it more that Democrats couldn’t push boundaries because conservative media is much stronger at pushing talking points, and would jump on a democratic Senate removing the filibuster even more than they did with Obama’s tan suit. Fox is powerful enough to influence other news media and the many centrist voters.
- Comment on Sir, they are attacking the whotilla 2 weeks ago:
I don’t recall if the hat is in the actual movie. There are no armed forces of any kind depicted. I think there’s a Who police officer.
This is the Jim Carrey version of The Grinch.

That’s actually pretty clever. I mean it’s totally stupid, but I could see a world where that makes sense.

That’s one of my very favorite books. It’s fantastic at setting the mood. The further books are ok but not as much to my taste.

Maybe if it’s from Kimmy Schmidt?

Is it actually any good? I don’t really play horror, but it mostly just looks odd in the trailer.

Seems like a great guy. He is retired from M$, so probably safe from your throttling anyway.

Doesn’t seem like it would NEED to be updated, except to stay working on current Android versions, no?

Two colors, with a basic shape centered? I guess it’s ok.

Vivaldi (chromium) lets me set tab rules. Tabs will jump to the correct workspace automatically.

For new car sales.
- Comment on "Whatever You Get Your Podcasts" 1 month ago:
Many podcasters use a podcast publishing service that pushes to apple and spotify and whatever other podcast RSS feed. It’s just not worth naming them at the end of every episode.

If between 0 and 1 are an infinite number of real numbers, then between 0 and 2 are twice infinite real numbers, IIRC my college math. I probably don’t.

It’s from a book I love, Robert Heinlein’s Stranger in a Strange Land. The word is the Martian term for fully understanding something.

It’s worth a try I think, but half of the fun of posting here is letting people try to help.

Not a very experienced whistler, I think! It takes practices for sure, and not everyone can do it. Maybe humming or “Doo Doo Doo” or even scatting would be more helpful?
- Comment on What types of cleaning products do you *really* need to clean the bathroom? 1 month ago:
It’s a general purpose cleaner that’s sold in jugs that are way too similar to a fruit juice jug for my liking. Works great, cheap, smells good.
