No one is immune to it and you are correct that is starting to really pickup in Europe too.

Back in the 90s, most laptops came with a docking station or had options to buy it separately that added any port a desktop had at the time. None of this is new.

We are all manipulated to think a certain way by our garbage media diet and lackluster advertising regulations. It’s impossible to avoid the bs projected at us 24/7. I constantly have to drive by billboards with anti-abortion propaganda slogans on them…

I still use old reddit and I have an extension on iOS that modifies it to be usable on a phone.

It’s okay but Halo 5 makes the whole story worthless.

I kinda am into the theory we all are a little bi to a degree. Sexuality is a spectrum like autism.

Everything after 3 is poorly written fan fiction to me. It still is one of my favorite franchises of all time, but it’s never going to be the same again. Halo Wars 2 was all right though.

The original Star Wars Battlefront games. The best offline multiplayer I’ve ever had in a video game.

They do, but they also perform double speak to counter their hypocrisy. They’re rather famous for doing it.

I recognize what happened to them was wrong and shouldn’t have happened, but I am glad it wasn’t a person of better moral character to be the victim.

There is only so much empathy you can lend out to a black hole before it sucks you into its hateful gravitational pool. Purity tests like what you are proposing just makes them stronger.

Nope, I’m in North America. All LG TVs no matter where you are let you do this. Also, I use an Nvidia Shield with smart tube and it has built in sponsor block + blocking.

Especially if you had to hookup a new system or player to it.

The only people using it 30+ years ago were students, academia, and the government. That fact might skew your perspective on it a little since you weren’t having conversations with anyone under 18 or anyone who didn’t understand how to properly use a computer or afford one back then for that matter. The internet really went to shit when smartphones really took off around 2010 because it allowed every dipshit access to it easily, everywhere, all the time. Generative AI is going to make it all more stupid.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 weeks ago:
I wouldn’t mind that. I would rather accept some inconvenience to have more social interaction.

Once AI starts training on its own created data, then the dead internet theory will become even more true. Humanity is going to suffer for opening this Pandora’s box.
