Your early 20’s are the best, imo. You get more freedom from adulthood, but the responsibilities come in a lot slower. You get less restrictions from childhood, but still bear some of the securities and comforts.
Half way through your 20’s you get a “quarter life crisis” and you realise that you need to get shit together. That’s when life gets real and your childhood truly ends.
At least thats my experience. Ever since I turned 30, my anxiety has been growing to a point where now I even loose sleep over it some days. Which is something I’d never done before.

There’s nothing cool about having to live alone because the person you been married to for 50+ years died and you can’t bring yourself to meet soemone else out of heartache, even after 10 or 20 years.
It is pretty cool though if you do manage to meet someone else, when you’re 90 and now you’re popping viagra like candy.

Technically the truth. I learned to talk with a proper Irish accent within a couple months. 15 years later there’s nothing left of that, but for a brief moment in history I was cool.

I did not know that, but also just heard Kanye’s new hitler song half an hour before making that post. So I was freshly scarred.

Many people learn to drink coffee, because it is a social thing to drink. Often when you get guests over, the first thing you offer is a cup of coffee. The bitterness of coffee is an acquired taste though. Not everyone likes it, so they add sweeteners and creamers to hide it.
I used to do that as well, but it got increasingly annoying when places ran out of sugar or milk. So I just decided to learn to drink black coffee.
Now I’m a snob about my coffee and my beans.

Back in the day when you destroyed someones life by doxing their personal data and carefully ruining every facet of their lives, it was a collective effort. It created community on the forum when we all banded together like that. It wasn’t the eventual headline that drove us, it was the friends we made along the way.
I’m kidding of course
But what they’re doing now on xitter is still much, much worse than anything 4chan ever did because of the sheer scale of it all.

As a European, I never thought particularly highly of American politics and culture. I never got the whole Americana hype of the last decades. But at least it used to be not fascist and kind of democratic. Seeing the country move towards loosing that is heart breaking. Seeing European countries trying to follow the example is terrifying.

Percieved intelligence is subjective. See this paper where 65% of Americans think they are smarter than average. The math doesn’t add up.

The Ghurken are a peaceful, but sour race. They made the LGBT community into what it is today. Otherwise they would just be an ordinary sandwich with bacon, letuce and tomato

I can imagine why he said that, if your fanbase exists entirely of teenagers. Have you ever walked into a high-school classroom with 30 anxious teenagers doing a diffucult, but important test? Now imagine that classroom has not 30, but 3000 students sweating and hormoning up the place. Ugh!
