You already can’t in so many places. I thought it was required to accept cash, but apparently that’s only for paying the government.

OMG the horror. ASL is my “drunk accent”.
I grew up around deaf family and we all learned sign language before we learned to talk. The more I drink, the more my hands start to sign along with me.

I can’t justify the gas cost to drive as far as my state capital, let alone travel all the way across the country to Washington DC. Not that I could even fly there since I’m not willing/able to get the fancy ID needed to get on a plane and leave my state.

I was really hoping for a beer bong.
But I guess Bros before Hose is true across the globe.

I made a list. It’s at home. I should have made a list of things to take to the store so I could put the list on the list.

As someone who spent years working retail, it works and is necessary. Gotta sell stuff to stay in business. It’s not always a scam to force you to buy things you wouldn’t.
Doesn’t even need to be moved to a high traffic area. Sometimes just moving it a few feet makes a difference. People get ‘product blind’ when it just sits in the same place forever.

What are other countries doing? Is it just a ‘bring your own cup’ thing? Do y’all just have a hundred cups on hand for parties?

I’m old and refused to claim a flag when they were presented.
I just tell people that “I’m independent, but occupied” or I ask them why they are so concerned about my penis, depending on the manner in which the question was asked.

OMG wouldn’t that be an interesting outcome. MAGA splits from GOP, taking voters. Suddenly there is room for an actual left side party instead of whatever Dem is anymore. Would be funny if the death of Trump actually pushed us into having more political parties and some actual representation for the people.

That would be nice
As someone who worked in the industry, I can say you often had to FIGHT to get your name in the game credits. And you were lucky if you got a copy of whatever you made, if you did it was months later (likely long after you went and bought a copy because you wanted to play with your friends). You certainly would not get any free digital content. Maybe a shirt or baseball hat if there were any left over from the launch party (that you weren’t invited to because it’s only for upper management and investors).

They stick their faces in muck water and suck everything up while looking for food. Ducks can eat a lot of things.
- Comment on Bird 11 months ago:
We had pekin and they figured out a good food hack. We fed the flocks using gutters (then everyone can feed without fighting for space). But the pekins would straddle the gutter, stick their head in the feed with mouth open, and then flap forward and kick their feet to ‘ride’ the gutter and scoop up as much food as possible. It was highly effective.
They ate 10x more than a regular duck and were 5x louder and always involved with any shenanigans going down. Fuck Pekin ducks.

Not OP but totally sounds real.
Ducks are like that for sure. They will certainly claim a spot. And eggs just kinda come out the egg hole sometimes. Especially if they aren’t able to secure a nest to lay on a schedule.
I’ve seen eggs roll out while they are running past to get to their pond.

I go to sleep at 1 (plus socks and sometimes a hoodie)
I wake up at 20
Sometimes I wake up warm and strip a layer or two off. But I’ve been like this my whole life so I usually don’t even wake up when clothes start coming off.
I don’t sleep-walk, I sleep-strip.
And I’m VERY careful about where I fall asleep.

As a single guy who lived with a married couple, I can say it’s awesome and doesn’t have to be sex related.
It cut down on cost of living and made everything easier. A little awkward when they bicker and didn’t always enjoy playing the marriage counselor role. But overall it was great.
I think it also worked because sex wasn’t part of the relationship.

- Comment on Too many non-working holidays in America. 1 year ago:
Like everything he says/does there is a slight truth buried deep in there.
Some ‘workers’ really don’t want it. They are called corporate middle management. They don’t want the wage slaves to disrupt profit or crowd the spaces that they will be using because management will still take the day off.
