Well it works for this example, because lave-vaisselle is feminine. The root vasselle (dishes) is feminine.

I’ve found that most of the time, just pick the most sexist answer you can think of, and you’ll typically be right!
I really don’t like gendered languages.

If you can seperate the author from the work, then yeah. There’s nothing I can remember from a recent rewatch that’s like tastelessly pervy in it. It does handle some mature themes, there’s some episodes that deal with like SA and stuff like that, but it was handled with levity.
That said, you’ll probably still cringe a bit because there’s parts of it that are so blatantly late 90s/early 2000s that they’re just funny to think about now. stuff like the “internet ghost” is incredibly dated.

or even worse than that, I’ve seen so many listings that are just training AI to eventually do your job. like they have a human there to ask why and try to understand how to perform the job function, but they’re teaching both the human and the AI at the same time.
job market is in a really shitty place in the U.S. right now.

he also 100% existed lol. Yasuke has tons of historical records about him because he didn’t exist in like ancient Japan, he was the bodyguard of Oda Nobunaga during the Sengoku era. like you said, racists are just idiots and can’t stand actual history that goes against their stupidity.
- Comment on ‘We had to stop focusing on those who hated us’: Ubisoft says it won the battle against Assassin’s Creed Shadows backlash [VGC] 3 weeks ago:
Yeah none of those reasons were why people hated Shadows though. It was entirely racists. They aren’t gonna make any more improvements to their formula because Ubisoft doesn’t innovate, they’ll just wait for someone else to add an interesting twist to the open world formula and then steal that.

I thankfully don’t have kids, so I dunno if they’re still doing it, but I first heard of it in October. Also dunno if it happened outside of the US

6-7 is the hot new vocal stim that kids love repeating these days. It’s from a viral TikTok.
25 used to be a vocal stim kids would say, I wanna say its origin is from a joke in Spongebob.

The One Piece subreddit is exactly the same, and is basically unusable for actual discussion. I think it stems from an issue in moderation. as big as these series are, most of these specific anime subreddits have very few moderators. If one of em is a gooner, it becomes a gooner sub.

Did the patient ever die on House? I’ve only seen random episodes from back in ye olden days of watching whatever was on TV, and in all the episodes I watched he saved the patient in the end. Compared to the actual U.S. healthcare system that rarely cares what’s wrong with you and will often do nothing until it’s too late, I think I’d take my chances with House.

- Comment on What is the most overrated game gamers hype up? 1 month ago:
I actually really liked the setting and artstyle, but god yeah I do not understand why that combat system needed to be the way it was. It put me off playing the sequel, because I just didn’t want to suffer through the most godawful shooting combat of any game I’ve played this decade for another 40 hours.
Wasn’t this the same studio who gave us Max Payne? How have they been making third person shooters for like two decades and still mess it up?

- Comment on Happy 20th anniversary to the Corrupted Blood incident! 1 month ago:
No, not at all like COVID. Don’t confuse ignorance for malice. The issue with COVID was skeptics who only consumed right-wing propoganda downplaying the severity of the virus. There were no skeptics in the Corrupted Blood incident, people were maliciously trying to spread the virus knowing that it would kill other people.
- Comment on Happy 20th anniversary to the Corrupted Blood incident! 1 month ago:
everyone always overexaggerates how useful the incident was to epidemiologists. It was certainly an interesting novelty, and some cool studies were produced, but the issue was that there weren’t actually consequences for bad actors. It’s a lot harder for assholes to willingly catch a disease with the goal of spreading it when that disease can actually kill them.
I’m more miffed that they never figured out a way to rerun the event for WoW Classic, if even for only 24 hours.

Love the idea that twinks aren’t also muscle hunks. You think the male body just does that? Unless you’re genetically gifted or under 21, expect to put in a lot of gym hours, because if you wanna lose serious weight without gaining muscularture you’re in for a shitton of cardio and dieting.
