Me when I lie
i got to work on my backlog!
Go back to my 300hr save on Factorio
Noob
Get stuck on Gleba again.
And now your game library has a function where you can easily pull up all the unplayed titles too.
Same, coming up on three years without a Steam purchase for me. Stay strong! :D
5 euros for the entire Metro series (2033, Last Light, Exodus, plus the expansions) is insane.
The first two games were already given away before multiple times for free. Not that surprising but good for anyone who missed those.
I’ve already got it, but Dishonored is $1.99 USD, and definitely worth it for ten times that amount even after all these years.
Got the Dead Space remake for 6 bucks. I need to stop buying games … my backlog is big enough
While true, it’s an amazing remake and definitely worth 6 bucks
That is literally the only game I’m even interested in from EA, but the thought of paying them even six dollars is giving me the Nesquik rabbit testicular torsion.
My desktop is sluggish My backlog too long RAM price too high KNICKS IN FIVE!!!
what’re you sellin?
is that all stranger?
HEHH HEHH HIHH HEH… thank you…
The Binding of Isaac + all DLC is like $5. Definitely jumping on that.
I have the original one and I might just do this to get it to work well on the deck. The OG version is kinda janky control wise.
Ah glad you mentioned that because I had the base game on my wishlist and saw it for under $2 and just added that.
But now, looking more closely, I’m a bit confused. I see the DLC bundles, but only one of the DLCs (other than the soundtrack) has a price, though the others are a mix of Free and N/A. Going into bundle details does show a price for the N/A ones but I’m just confused about what’s going on there. Are the DLCs only available through the bundles and that’s why they don’t have their own prices unless you dig a bit?
Anyways, they are all 90% off.
Though with the way valve handles bundles, at least it isn’t really an issue, whatever is going on. It’s refreshing that they don’t try to nickel and dime you and even warn you if you have a game in a cart when a bundle with that game is cheaper (because you already have the other games and it still gives you the bundle discount without needing to buy those games again).
Dishonored 1 full collection for 2 EUR?
DAMN!
I might buy it for some friends and maybe even a few give aways…
Thank you for mentioning party hard! I think I had that back on my Xbox a decade ago. Time to try it again
There is even a sequel, Party Hard 2, not a super fan personally, I find the original better.
Got Absolum. Not the biggest discount, but I played the demo some time back and it kept lingering in my mind. Really looking forward to play co-op with my wife.
The only one I have my eye on (for now) is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and basically because it never gets discounted.
Wolfenstein?
Here’s some mostly small game suggestions I wrote up for a hidden gems thread elsewhere :)
Yes I Know I Play a Lot of Roguelites:
More Shooting Things but Not Scrolling Shmups:
Now Some Scrolling Shmups:
A Little Less Shooting:
Some Always-Cheap Mentionables that Tend to Skip Sales and are Unsurprisingly Not Discounted this Time Either (aka Oh Look There were More Shooting Things After All):
RDR2! I was actually willing to pay full price for it just a week ago because I need a chill open world game to play after getting my wisdom teeth pulled next week. But then I saw No man’s Sky in my library and got distracted playing that so I didn’t buy RDR2. That was very lucky. I’ll have to see which one ends up being the game I actually play.
I also picked up Half-Life Alyx. It’s actually kinda surprising that I haven’t played it yet after like 5 years of owning a VR headset, but I never played Half-Life 1 or 2 so I felt like I probably wouldn’t have the context to really get it. I might finally get to playing those two soon so having Alxy ready to go makes sense!
Alyx really uses the VR very well, easily the best VR game I have played. Bonus that it is actually interesting on top of being good at VR.
Hoping to snag a Frame when they come out so I can finally play HL Alyx.
2 awesome games :) I really enjoyed both years ago. Alyx is the best VR action game I’ve played.
Scored me:
Not a bad haul
Rain World has been on my list for a while and it’s currently 90% off, cheapest it has been since 2023. Definitely picking that up.
Check the bundles first, that 90% off may drop it to a whopping $1.87 if you own the other games.
Indeed, that is how I plan to buy it! (Though a little more, in CAD)
I’ve wishlisted it On GoG where it’s only 55% off. I wonder how they decide how much to reduce based on the stores?
Mina the Hollower, and it’s not even on sale. And I still feel smart, looking over the shit on sale in my wishlist
I had already pirated and played through Pathfinder :WOTR, and since it was heavily Discounted (600rs=around $4) I finally bought iy with all the dlc.
I’m not yucking anyone’s yum, just noticing how the only game I was interested in isn’t on sale, yet it’s good enough that I’m not even annoyed
I’ve got Astralbringer (crazy mouse shmup, not actually on sale but that dev prices low and doesn’t really do Steam sales), Shikhondo: Blue Pieta (horizontal scrolling shmup), Revo (fast kinda janky gallery shmup), and Beyond Solar (scrolling shmup). I’m looking into Star Vortex and Star Solar (both space ARPGs).
So kinda tame sale, and I’ve obviously been feeling pretty shmuppy lately (and I’ve got a loooot of those already to play :), but I’ve also got Denshattack release to look forward to on the 15th, depending on price.
No Summer Sale complaints here. Saw several games I often price check around sales take nice drops this time, so deals are out there.
Sales are looking really mid again. I skipped the Winter and Spring sales entirely.
I picked up God Of War: Ragnarok and Spider-Man 2 because the current sales are the lowest I’ve seen them. More than I usually pay for games but I know I’ll enjoy them.
Besides that I picked up a few cheap DLCs for games I play or will play in the near future.
And it’s shit… agaaaaa-in 🎶
FR, 30 games on my list, only 6 hit their historical lows, and 2 of which I had already decided they’re too high for me anyway.
25 either didn’t go on sale or didn’t hit their historical low.
I grabbed The Ninja Gaiden Master Collection (Fuck Sigma, I’m in it for NG3RE), Blue Revolver (Like, fine I suppose I’m running out of shmups, so I’ll try and figure out what put me off about it the first time), Counterclocking (I’ll support any new action game), and Carter’s Quest (I’ll support any new action game)
Why does it need to be historical low?
Because people hate devs being rewarded for their work.
Idk, Dyson Sphere Program maybe. Been playing the shit out of Satisfactory recently.
DSP is great, def worth it if you like Satisfactory.
I also love Timberborn. It hits some of the same gameplay notes but with a very different vibe.
if you use more than one computer, watch out that you can’t play the same savegame on both
My cart currently (although I’m not sure I’ll pull the trigger on all of them):
Also looking at Trepang2, Hell Is Us and ROUTINE but I’m not sure they’re my vibe at the moment.
wanted: dead is great fun and very short - finished on normal my playtime is 13 hours and i died a lot. there’s some minigames and new game+ to squeeze some extra out of it if you want
Would you say Normal was a fun challenge or would you recommend just playing on Easy? I’ve heard some not great things about the game’s balance.
I should play the games I got last time.
what’re you buying?
Seemingly nothing. Discounts on the items on my wishlist are rather mild.
anything that looks fun, and isn’t some aaa garbage slop.
if the discount is 50% or more, I also won’t touch it under the assumption there’s 700dlcs, season passes, and 4 stores within the game.
if the discount is 50% or more, I also won’t touch it under the assumption there’s 700dlcs, season passes, and 4 stores within the game.
Is that a super common occurrence? Sure, that may happen sometimes, but I can’t say I have seen it so often that it can just be assumed whenever I see a high discount.
No, it is not.
Just block Paradox and you’ve removed 90% of them.
You can see the DLCs on the store page before buying, there’s no surprises.
cant you refund the game if it has 700 dlcs, season passes and 4 stores?
so many amazing games have discounts of over 50%
currently, terraria, celeste, and rabbit and steel are discounted and are all amazing games with no dlcs or stores that use irl currencies
Finally, it’s about time
I was waiting for the sale to buy Elden Ring or DS3. Been wanting to replay them, this time with mods. But it seems they skipped this sale… of course they did.
Nothing is really jumping out to me.
I may do another run of cyberpunk during rainy season since it’s about all my PC can do and upgrading is basically impossible right now.
I just finished my ~yearly run of Skyrim (with mods other than just skyui for the first time this time).
I used to play a lot of 7 Days, but they lost me when they started adding triggers in POIs that automatically alerted zombies, opened doors, etc. and TFP’s general bullshit after that.
The only other two games I’ve played this year are Last Caretaker (it was alright but had too many performance issues and bugs at the time), and Peglin which I’m also kinda over.
with mods other than just skyui for the first time this time
Congrats, you are well on your way to becoming the type of person that spends 6 weeks making a skyrim modlist instead of playing the game, launching it for 15 minutes to make sure everything works, and then losing interest in the game after a day or two.
I recently found out about a mod called Sentinel, and holy hell is it exactly what I needed to actually enjoy the cool looking but blatantly overpowered Creation Club armors.
Cyberpunk is one of the moste demanding games out there btw.
Yeah, I can’t play it with very high settings. My PC is probably about 6-8 years old and has no upgrades (and wasn’t bleeding edge when I built it, but not horrible either)
Considering Grim Dawn and / or Binding of Isaac Rebirth.
I’m only buying dlc for games I already have.
