We’ll see. Boycotting a $1000+ digital only console will be easier than boycotting a $70 game.

That just strengthens your claim that the graphics are weak.

I’m surprised that they haven’t brought up the negative environmental effect of producing compact discs and enclosures as an excuse.
They’re still planning to release empty cases with codes in the box, so that tells you how much of a shit they give about that.

Is there anyway to backup our games purchased on Steam?
Yes, you can copy the install folders for them. Some can be modified to run without Steam fairly easily, some will need more involved cracks.

The PS5 probably won’t see any noticeable decrease in game sales, because pretty much everyone who wants one already has one, but I’ll be interested to see if gamers call Sony’s bluff for the PS6 or not.

Don’t see how that would relate to “everybody clapping,” as it’s not something that happened, but is it so hard to believe as well? Especially since it said nothing about “ending world hunger?”

You can’t even conceive of a person donating $200 that they found rather than keeping it? That’s sad.

We just happened to have a sun that’s 400 times larger and 400 times farther away than our moon, so they appear to have the same significance from our perspective.

Yes, in every country. But they’ll make billions all the same.

However combinations or associations of the above description may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.

No, the problem is that the dumb fucks have hugely outsized representation in elections due to a corrupt, broken system.

Cancelling PS Plus would be a much better move. I only use my PS5 for YouTube nowadays, so I won’t be participating since I have to log in for that. But I won’t be playing any games on it or buying anything.

As far as the expansions go, Heart of Stone is okay, mostly more of the same, which isn’t a bad thing, but Blood and Wine is as big as a whole other game. Prossibly the best expansion ever, in my opinion.

It’s better than the vast majority of games released today and still looks really good. Highly recommend it IF you like open world RPGs as it’s pretty much the gold standard.

I got my LCD Steam Deck in April 2025 in reaction to Nintendo’s Switch 2 reveal being so terrible at the time. Times change. Valve charging $300 more for the SD spooked me and I got a Switch 2 while it’s still $450. I figured I won’t getting any more gaming hardware for a long time, so I might as well get the last decently affordable console for the foreseeable future.

Replace ESO with Starfield, since that was actually developed by the same people. And it’s worse than ESO!
