Always my favorite thing to do. I’ve seen some people do a skip as well in that area but I’ve never been able to pull it off (and have given up trying as I don’t want to make it unfair to my friends)

I’ll try not too! Honestly doing these has done a lot for me as a person. Not too get too deep or anything but I feel like it’s given me a structure I didn’t have before

I’ve got maybe 200 hours in total on mine, though that’s not including Mobile or Switch. I don’t usually get invested in the smaller things, but I love seeing how invested people can get in them

I bounce around a lot and have built up quite the backlog when I was younger. It does help though that I have a lot of free time afforded to me (with a small but really spacious budget)

I completely get that. I usually drop off around the marriage part. I never usually end up completing the community center

I especially love the winter and fall themes. Maybe it’s nostalgia but I have really fond memories of waking up for class at 6 AM during December and while I was waiting to leave I’d sit there and cram a few days in.

I’m a little reassured at least that I know at some point emulation will be viable, even if it will be quite a few decades later. 600$-700$ just to play a game would be ridiculous

I was excited for Yotei but finding out the PC port was cancelled killed a lot of excitement I had for it

Thank you! I’ve been taking classes on Photography to make these better so I’ve been trying to get more expressive and creative with them. For example today’s were all in a portrait orientation

Red Dead pissed me off on my Steam Deck because I was in High School at the time and installed it, only to discover there’s no offline connectivity option apparently. It was such a stupid move in Rockstar’s part

I remember visiting all of them in game. It was a fun experience. I have to imagine it’s an interesting experience getting to see them in person!

- Comment on What is on your next-to-buy list? 6 days ago:
Kenshi has been on my list for a while. Every sale I go “this is the one. I’m gonna buy it” then never end up doing it. Spider-Man I have been wanting too as well, but it’s too pricey for me personally still and with Sony killing PC ports I’m more hesitant to buy it

I try to brush on story when I can, admittedly though I’ve been a little hesitant on story though too because back when I was doing my Last of Us Part II run, I made a big fuck up and assumed information I thought was common place was common place. Turns out it was not common place.
Presentation was really good. I love the Cold War aesthetic, and it doesn’t feel like it’s just stereotyping it too “here’s some Soviet imagery”, though some things like the Gravure Models on the walls kind of took me out. For acting I’d say it felt a little stilted at times. That’s not a major mood killer for me, but there were times it just kind of felt like they were reading off a script. With Art Direction though for this game, absolutely love it. I especially loved the sort of muted coldness the mountains had, a thought I can’t make up my mind whether I liked it better with the Nostalgia Filter or not.

Local runs on device, so no need to connect to a big data center that chugs lots of water and all those other problems. Of course, because it’s a smaller far tinier model it’s nowhere near as accurate, but especially for things like this you don’t really need a big accurate LLM model.
I think I also though I should warrant a disclaimer that I am a Software Developer, not a AI Developer. So there’s far less backing then from my perspective than someone who works with this stuff for a living

With the junctions, the whole tutorial went in one ear and out of the other. I had to read an external tutorial to understand them

Since maybe January? I was trying to check his achievements for 1 to get an idea of when but apparently the Steam Mobile app doesn’t show date and time of achievements so I’m not sure exactly

I grew up right when playground rumors started kind of dying, but “squall is dead” was one of the first I remember.
My friend I went with has been trying to do the same with all the achievements too. He started with 1, and he’s now on I think 5? It’s really cool to see even though I barely understand what it’s going on.

Make it a downloadable package that runs a local model and I think I’d be far more fine. Like, I think it’s a tacky gimmick, but at least on device it’s not hurting the environment

9 is what I’m most excited to get too after this, if only for the soundtrack. It was really good when I heard it, and it’s been living rent free in my head for a while

That’s what my main fear is. It took a while for me to get hooked on 7’s remake, and with 8 being a more traditional RPG rather than 7’s hybrid thingy it has going on I’m a little nervous I’ll get bored. I’m glad I picked it up on sale at least. I know the people in my family sharing at least will get some use out of it

Damn. I knew they could get pricey but not 200$ pricey. My local one usually prices them 75$ for something mainstream, with smaller shows being around 40$-50$
