I think i said it in the post but the only one i’ve ever played is Revelations. Going back and playing 2 and Brotherhood felt good. Especially with brotherhood, i see why they’re so loved

I’ve been considering getting all the achievements. But impossible is really what’s putting a lid on any desire. I feel like it’d be a lot of time and I do not have that kind of time unfortunately (even if I do have a lot of time right now)

I can’t believe I forgot about the kill streak. It would have been a good detail to mention lmao.
But yeah. That is something I remember when I was young and played Revelations. I kind of like it as it forced me to be a little more aware rather than just countering with the hidden blade

I’m playing the remake. I picked it up ages ago because it was like 5$ or something and I’m just now playing it

Off topic but I fucking love Jellyfin. I have one setup for me and my friends with a web domain attached and it’s awesome

Nothing to apologize for lol. I’ll freely admit the difference in parkour is a personal taste thing, and there’s some people who are different and won’t notice.
I still appreciate the insight nonetheless

All I remember from Unity and Syndicate is that you’re a hacker helping out the Assassin’s, something something Phoenix project. something something sequence Isu Genome. It’s disappointing because done right i could see myself liking it.
On the subject of Mirage, I’ve seen gameplay and it looks closer to the older games i like. How’s the parkour though? Is it still that awkward feeling RPG Parkour like what Shadows has? (This might just be a me thing)

Damn, another Sci-fi movie too watch. Honestly Sci-fi horror doesn’t do a lot for me (The scariest thing to me in Alien was that the cat could die, for example), but i still love the experience. I’ll have to queue up a watch party with my friend group

I didn’t necessarily mind the Isu being in the present day in the newer games, but I wish they’d just commit to one damn plotline. Even now it feels like they dropped Basim and are doing this whole “Dark Animus” thing unless there’s something I’m missing there

They were basically just some extra filler (in my opinion) that consists of:
Spoiler
The apple of Eden gets stolen by a third party. He uses it to control people and destroy some art. Ezio kills him. Gets it back. Then goes and kills the Pope
Honestly I think it would have been better placed after the story and just taking the templars out of it. But gameplay wasn’t so bad, except the last part where you have to assassinate 9 targets. Gave me flashbacks to AC Shadows right there

It’s a work in progress for sure lmao, especially since i found out the settings on my monitor were all jacked up. I ended up just tossing it out and keeping a few filters i liked that didn’t mess with colors. It’s more muted but a lot less harsh with the reds. Though reshade keeps turning the old preset back on so i get the privilege of trying to fix that.

It’s possible my monitor’s settings were responsible for the dead feeling lmao. I found out today the Contrast and shit were cranked way up to max from the last time i was playing a game with some friend. I had turned them up for some extra visibility and just got used to them being that way.
I set my monitor the default “Picture” mode and just tossed out any sort of filters that mess with color. Instead i just kept Ambient Lighting and AMD CAS as i like how it makes edges look a little sharper. Though, Reshade seems to love defaulting back to one of my other presets so i have to figure out how to fix that

Yeah, i’ve been messing with the saturation lately and seeing what i like. I had it off in most of the cities and messed with that too but i don’t know… something about it seems dead to me. I downloaded something that instead cleans up the color grading in engine, so i might just ditch reshade and stick with that entirely just so i don’t keep messing with Reshade. I have a problem where if you give me settings like that i will mess with them just to try things out
I liked Black Flags modern day on the first playthrough, but any replays it just bogs down the whole thing i find. It really was carried by story. Once that’s gone there’s nothing really there.

I love Unity’s multiplayer conceptually, but every time i try and play it i end up having a bad experience with lag or something. Besides that though i really liked it. Giving the bugs time to be stamped out really helped it. A shame it didn’t launch in that state

The games I grew up with were Unity and Black Flag, so getting to go back and experience Ezio is fun. I’m finally starting to see why a lot of people love him

Controller. Specifically PS3. I have a lot of respect for people who play the franchise with Keyboard and Mouse but I could not be one of them

It wasn’t too bad on PC but that may have been my monitor, but there were some segments where it didn’t look great

I’m so glad i went into it blind, i love it but knowing me it’d be like playing something like Undertale having everything spoiled. There’s just not much motive for me there because (to me) the main draw is the story. OneShot does a lot for experience too, but I’m so glad i went in blind.
It’s good too have a space like a minecraft server too i find, especially for friends that aren’t as drawn in to something like Halo, which is my usual go to “social” game
