It’s definitely really pretty and runs pretty well too. I have it set to the base High Option and it runs at around 60 FPS for me with my specs (which is the max my monitor goes)

I agree. It still has a bit of a way to improve, but I’d say that if you were to pick it up though, the sale would be the safest bet, especially with the freakishly large base price tag

Introducing people to new games is one of my favorite parts of doing this. It makes me happy to hear that someone thought to give a game a try because of me

The Heavyweights are fun to play for sure. I love that they can spin people out like you mentioned(even if it does become my worst enemy when I’m playing lighter characters)

Invite your boss and coworkers to play Halo with you. Problem solved

2’s special stages genuinely got my nerves when i played the OG cartridge. It felt like Tails was more of a nuisance then an aid sometimes lol

it fits the developer textures oddly well. i don’t know what it is about it

I love the tutorial worlds. Back before i owned the full game me and my sister would play splitscreen on the 1 hour trial of the Xbox 360 edition and try to milk the tutorial world for all we could, so i have really fond memories of it.

That’s awesome to hear because getting people excited to play a game is my entire goal with these (along with introducing people to new games or just reminding them of old ones)

There’s just something magical about it, i’m not sure what but modern minecraft (while great in it’s own respect, at least for me) is definitely missing it. I heard there’s a modpack that helps bring back some of the magic but i’m not sure what

365 days is probably my goal. A good year sounds great, after that i plan to reevaluate whether i can afford to keep doing it with my time so i don’t accidentally fill my schedule to much

Not as far as i’m aware. The bed does put me inside blocks though (or at least the oldest version on my disk does)

Oh, I get what you’re saying. I try to 100% things, or at the very least beat the story. But some times I’ll get burnt out easily or just won’t have the time for that specific game. Usually I try to balance a single player game and then multiplayer game with friends I’ll shuffle through whenever.
Right now my single player is Far Cry 3, and then my multiplayer rn is mostly Halo Infinite with my friend, though occasionally I’ll drag my PS3 over to my friend’s house for Splitscreen Minecraft (like today), so that could be included under multiplayer too.

Definitely. For a base, it’s amazing. It needs some balancing imo, and like you said, some more content. My friend I play with was commenting that he wishes there were more biomes, which is definitely something I agree with. The generic “grassy hills” thing definitely gets boring to look at after a bit.

Part of it just that I like taking screenshots of my games. I’ll take a picture of anything I see that’s slightly interesting in games. So much so that I used to have a whole extra storage drive for all of them until I trimmed them down and limited myself lol

Fuck. I completely forgot they used to do that bullshit thing for Multiplayer. I think I still have a card for it that came with my childhood copy of AC Revelations somewhere

I think I was too young to be there for Dubstep. Though I feel like I was there for stacking cups. So maybe I didn’t miss it and it was more so my internet access at the time. But damn, this song definitely made Dubstep click for me. One of the last things I did last night was add it to my music library.

I liked 4, it’s very much a victim of being a Ubisoft game though, as in it’s more of the same. I’d say the only difference is the setting.
5 is similarly pretty good, I feel like it removed a lot of the “Guerrilla Warfare” feel of the combat but the villain is really good and the setting is pretty solid too. I haven’t played 6 though. If I had to guess though it’s the same. More of the same.

I’m a sucker for 4’s main Villain, but damn did Joseph do a really good job. I’d have to place Vaas above him though because the dude seems genuinely unhinged.
You’re right about the 2010s villains too, I really hope we get some really good ones this decade too

I think it was a combo of the ROP and 5090 not reaching 4090 performance levels is what I was thinking of now that you mention it. I was mistaken, my bad

I feel like i see this a lot in indie games now (and some big name games too). The most common one i see is Stardew Valley. As happy as it makes me seeing someone try something new, it gets a bit tiring seeing 10 games every month that’s just “Stardew Valley but X”

I know the OG fat is known for having a few issues, I can’t imagine it causes that big of a performance problem though so it must be the game. I just repasted my Slim model so i might give both it and Silent Hill Homecoming a try just to see for myself

I might be wrong, but hasn’t the 5000 series GPUs been having performance issues? Might that have something to do with it too?
