Did you mean: “Roll, roll, roll your stoat, gently down the stream”?

“Rip and tear rodent throats out, so they’ll never screeeeeaaaam”

That’s exactly how we hunted wooly mammoths.

So it’s probably a bad idea to get a Weasel as a pet if you have cats, huh.
Washedupcynic@lemmy.ca 2 weeks ago
Can confirm. I had a ferret that would jump onto the back of our terrier after war dancing around it. After witnessing that a few times we kept them separated. Our dog had no chill and didn’t want to play that way.

Twice the size of them…selves?
pyre@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
yeah wtf is that sentence. I think they meant “stoats hunt animals twice their size” and royally fucked it
PapaStevesy@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
Yeah, I wish there was more crossover between c/science_memes and c/grammar_and_composition_memes. What does that last sentence mean at all?
RampantParanoia2365@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
No punctuation, either.

Over the course of 2 decades I had 8 different ferrets. They all did this; it was adorable and hilarious.

Once a stoat wandered through my apartment. At the time I had a bit of a mouse problem. It was so surreal seeing this white noodle slink across my floor like a living squirmle.

It honestly looks wild, if you have never watched a video of it you should it is hilarious.

I’ve had a few friends that had weasels and they did this running up to me. I thought it was just them being cute. I did not realize that they were trying to build up their limit breaker to kill and eat me.
tiramichu@sh.itjust.works 2 weeks ago
To be fair, a lot of ‘play’ behaviour in cats and dog is largely hunting instinct behaviour too.
rhombus@sh.itjust.works 2 weeks ago
They also do it when they play with each other, so they probably were just being cute.
