My favourite analogy on this is that they had a master key with 398 slots for bumps, and they decided to only use one notch/bump for the whole thing.
You can’t open that with most regular keys, but if you try the most basic of picking you’ll find it pretty quick.

There is a massive security incident this week where an Indian certificate authority used 4 as the private key they used to sign encrypted internet traffic with.
Knowing their secret key lets anyone forge certificates that they can use to snoop on or modify internet traffic.
All 8 of their private keys were under 255, so could be trivially guessed. These certificates were accepted by all major browsers and operating systems, as well as many programming languages and tools.

A bunch of new stoves have a pizza setting that’s in that range.
You have to be careful though, they’re not all actually insulated for that range, so the electronics actually cook and fail.
If you do buy one the self clean usually works better due to the higher heat range, but all the appliance sales reps said to never use it anyways.

Analog style dials (they’re digital now) are easy to reach without looking, which keeps your focus on the task. Muscle memory is super important for flow.

But some of the new front knob designs get ruined by steam from the oven opening getting inside.
Why the hell that happens I do not know, but they moved the electronic parts there and steam ruins them.

I just bought a new range, and I will admit that I actually created a digital model of the candidates and evaluated which range layout was superior via Monte Carlo simulation of pot placement and BTU based heating times.
There was a Bosh I really wanted, but the centre burner was the strongest element and that layout was overall less effective when combined with a 12” cast iron, meaning one of the two had to be on a lower power burner. If I want to make pork chops in my skillet, a delicious fettuccini in a pot, a cream based sauce in my saucier pan, and cook up some French beans in a fry pan, the Bosh would have taken like 30% longer to prepare due to the boiling time of the water (I no longer remember the exact times).
Bosh please rethink your 30” gas range centre burner layout. It is most efficient for soup making or meat searing, but soup making is very rarely constrained by heating time (low and slow wins) and searing meat is usually accompanied by sides, so the smaller edge burners are less effective.

That mac and cheese looks decent, if homemade. Usually the package stuff looks thinner than that at least.
I suspect the chicken is frozen, but it’s a nice breading. Though my family never mattered there art of frying things, so I cannot say.

This is topical because I just got one of these emails.
Nobody is going to bother guessing that I would be stupid enough to use a four character password. It’s good enough for my bank and my phone, so it’s good enough for my computer.
