  Yeah Linux, I did get it to work, it’s pretty cool

  I’m impressed with some of the vfx, the fresnel style effect they put on the observation office windows is chefs kiss perfect. They do some other frame buffer stuff when the portal gun impacts that’s just very clever.

  Oh, the game mostly works, but I got to a test that they told me is impossible.

  This did get the game to launch, then I had to disable vsync because it was causing bizarre frame insertions several frames later.

  Whenever I try and run portal 1 it hard crashes, and I have not spend the effort to debug it.

  I’m curious if any part of this is that modern OLED screens are much less blue than 2012’s LED backlit screens, which affect reproducing the study.

  Also, beware the tyranny of averages!

  An average of 9 minutes can be some part of the population unaffected while another is massively affected.

  And agree with others, unless you’re reading books, you’re probably reading email and social media before bed, and the last thing I want before sleep Is to stimulate my brain into thinking. Reading a book really helps with that.

  It’s glaringly obvious that Israel is just there to sabotage every diplomatic avenue the US might take.

  And the US is basically getting cuckolded as Israel gets everything it wants and the US just impotently watches and pays for it all.

  There’s really no excuse for Israel to be doing this, and they also assassinated negotiators earlier. They really do not want any peace treaty or the US to pull out.

  You can make shortcuts/bangs, and you can create “lenses”, which allow you to create filter presets on your queries.

  I don’t really use the bangs to use Google instead like I did on duck duck go. I think I’ve used them a few times in a year, and heat when I was deep into not finding something which I continued to not find on google.
