So there’s this game called Arknights, which is set in a universe where they didn’t figure out the gunpowder, but they gave rocks that can be used to fuel the magic (and also give you magic rock cancer, go figure). So they have guns, but they’re basically only usable by one race of characters that are known for their innate talent for precise magic control, and everyone else sticks to crossbows and ballistas, or else more traditional magic.

Revolvers would work, surely. There’s zero electronics and an extremely simple internal mechanism. If door hinges work, so should revolvers

This is completely unrealistic. The nutrition tablet goes up your ass (the effects are the same)

And it made the magic system even less coherent. Polyjuice was described as physically changing your body to match the target, to the level of individual body parts changing one by one. Somehow excluding vocal cords from that is just not logical.
Not that Harry Potter magic system is well defined to begin with, but movies certainly made it worse.

The book polyjuice did change your voice, IIRC

Heat buildup is actually a problem in space, yeah. You need heat sinks on long term space flights.

Well, they either got lucky or died. But also, alcohol probably already existed at the time.
