All debt is bad, it is better to not own a house than to pay a mortgage levels of all debt is bad.

Then later, cash out some more to buy property… say, around 2008. But keep feeding more money in.

This comes up a lot. The fact is that almost everyone who mined a few dozen BTC back then would have sold it when it reached $100. No one ever thought back in 2009 that it’d be worth what it is now.

I didn’t buy when it was pennies. I saw it jump from $5 to $20. Then, a few years later, I bought lots and lots when it was in the $100s.
I held for a decade and finally sold this year. I now have enough to retire.
