- Comment on Any good tools for learning blind typing? 1 hour ago:
They make games where you have to spell words quickly or you lose and that’s how I learned as a kid.
Like one where you’re in a spaceship and have to shoot lasers at asteroids that are coming at your ship. You have to spell the word that’s written on the asteroid to hit it with a laser.
Idk if any of them are free but they’re basically simple coded flash games so I’m sure you could find one on the internet pretty easily

This is me but when people say “tgif” or post those “you made it to Friday” memes.
Monday is my Friday and Friday marks the beginning of the busy time of the week

- Comment on If someone was shrunk down to the size of an ant would they be able to make a little ant sized campfire with the same principles? Does it scale like that? 3 days ago:
If you got shrunk to that size you’d immediately suffocate as your diaphragm would no longer be strong enough to pull enough air into your lungs.
Yes I’m fun at parties.

It’s more like an offshoot of being raised religious and realizing none of it adds up but it still is a part of your worldview so it’s easy to swing from one extreme to the other.
If god isn’t real nothing matters so you can do what you want. Then the consequences of reality hit and you realize that just because god isn’t real doesn’t mean the consequences aren’t.
- Comment on Anon ruins christmas 6 days ago:
Yeah that period of time, where you believe nothing matters, so consequences don’t matter, until you realize that just because it doesn’t matter in the long run, it still sucks and you still have to deal with it, is one of the more challenging aspects of childhood atheism.
- Comment on A lot of people who try to start a religion are seen as mentally ill. Like Jim Jones, David Koresh, the UFO guy, and L Ron Hubbard. Then could it be a safe bet that Jesus was mentally ill? 6 days ago:
Iirc is defined by size.
If the biggest religions were only believed by a few hundred/thousand people they’d be treated like nothing more than the cults they are.

What gets me is like why are people upvoting this shit here? Most of these posts the top comment is complaining about the censorship yet these posts get thousands of likes.
- Comment on Need a fact check if they actually do blur his neck scrotum 1 week ago:
Iirc there’s a deliberate few seconds delay in the broadcast so censors have time to cover things.
- Comment on Was Alex Jones right about anything? 2 weeks ago:
Idk why this is so downvoted when it’s demonstrably accurate.
I learned how to read a clock in grade school but analog clocks were phased out for digital clocks by the time I reached middle school and weren’t in my high school at all.
My daughter is now going to the same grade school I went to and all the analog clocks have been swapped out for digital.
I personally taught my daughter how to read an analog clock before she even started school but I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t teach her in school since it’s not necessary anymore
- Comment on Femality is stored in the nipples 2 weeks ago:
I get the sentiment here but also feel like there’d be just as much complaints if the female option was bare cheated.
Kinda goes with the argument a lot of guys make about playing the female character because “if I have to look at an ass I’d rather it be a female ass” which is just as weird to me as demanding bare chested female characters.
To each their own though cause I’ve definitely played certain games where scantily clad women was part of the selling point or that have sex mini games.

I hate how every time we come up with a new “miracle” chemical that solves really big issues it ends up being either carcinogenic or devastatingly harmful to the environment.
It’s like how we almost made bed bugs extinct in America but the chemical being used was causing cancer and birth defects.
Why can’t we have nice chemical things!?!?

Preface: I am not attracted to kids!!!
I’m gonna get roasted alive for this but here we go.
I honestly think that, like a lot of other issues with humanity as a whole, this boils down to the fact that a lot more people are attracted to kids than they’ll ever admit.
I see it the same way with rapists and abusers. No one’s gonna openly talk about being like that so they don’t get caught but the fact that it’s so common tells me it’s not out of character to be done. Especially looking at history and how commonplace it was for grown adults to marry underage kids or sell them into sexual slavery.

I just hate it when I find a new song that sounds like a tragic story of the loss of a loved one just to find out it’s actually about their love for god.
It just feels so cringey to me 🥴

I’ll never understand how being doxxed became a thing when 20 years ago people would regularly have access to books that held the name, phone number, and address of damn near every person in their area.

Except I stated that I know other black characters exist that don’t have lightning powers. I know not all black superheroes have lightning powers but there’s enough of them that I’ve noticed it’s a trope.
