The doorknobs are made of the skulls from those who dared to enter, but did not already know the game. Lol
Jokes aside, while I haven’t been to one myself I know people who play and they’re always welcoming of new people. I’m sure the attitude is “more people to play with!”

trying not to have too much of a spoiler
___ The game has a new game + type mechanic that allows you to grow stronger in a specific way that I won’t ruin. Unfortunately that means focusing on an outpost or series of outposts becomes somewhat pointless. Depending on whether you care about the extra strength or not, you could either play through a few times to build up that strength, or just stick to your single game and build your outposts there.
Aside from what I wrote in the spoiler (which I hope really didn’t spoil anything) if you’re on PC I really suggest giving the Star Wars Genesis mod a try when you’re done! It’s a complete overhaul and it’s pretty damn cool!

I don’t really understand this. What’s the difference if I watch a Disney movie and make pictures? Midjourney isn’t selling the pictures, I think that’s where it gets to be illegal.
If my printer has the capacity to print what I created and it’s a copyrighted thing then do they sue Epson or me? It’s just taking the work out of being artistic, but I don’t see how it’s different than me making the image myself as long as I don’t sell it.

I actually went back to give star citizen a shot since they added these “flight school” type missions that actually pay pretty well. It’s a chill experience to just pop on after work and do like 6-8 of them since they only take a few minutes each and then log off.
Other than that I found this game hard time 3 that is absolutely unhinged madness. It’s a janky messy game, but it’s fun chaos to mess with for a bit.

The only reason to point out her weight is to trigger some unnecessary reaction of disgust from people. It’s not a matter of factual or not, it’s not relevant at all to the story about “abducting and torturing” a person. Why does it matter at all that she’s obese? They didn’t put “short dark haired, white, brown eyed…” They chose obese for a reason and to me it’s kinda gross to be enforcing the whole “weight shame” thing. Like yeah this person is supremely fucked up, but you put that stuff out there like it’s normal and ok to shame someone for which has an effect when taken in with the rest of what we observe in any given day.
What dailymail has to do with it is they’re a shit rag tabloid outlet that runs the kind of nonsense stories you’d used to see about people finding Bigfoot and whatnot so it makes sense they’d be framing something like this. It’s a form of click bait to be honest, it doesn’t have to be a lie to be click bait it just has to attract your click. The obese part isn’t necessary but it might get someone to click.

Basically incels are a specific thing, involuntarily celibate, but also what really defines them as incels is their misogyny stemming from a belief that women are to blame for their being celibate and not the fact that they themselves are the issue.
So like I’ve been celibate for about 4 years not, but I know I’m human trash not women, so I don’t believe I’m considering an incel.
Not that you asked lol
- Comment on what language would be best for me to learn? 2 weeks ago:
What are you going to do with Italian, honestly?
Lol even though I have Italian ancestry this is exactly why I chose Spanish instead when I needed to choose a language to study in highschool. I’ve since forgotten a bunch of it, but it still helps since I’ve always worked with a least a few Spanish speaking people that didn’t speak English well.
- Comment on what language would be best for me to learn? 3 weeks ago:
Depends on why you want to learn the language. I’d say mandarin could be very useful to know for future employment prospects.

- Comment on What are your thoughts about AI? 3 weeks ago:
It was fun for a time when their API access was free so some game developers put llms into their games. I liked being able to communicate with my ships computer, but quickly saw how flawed it was.
“Computer, can you tell me what system we’re in?”
“Sure, we’re in the Goober system.”
“But my map says we’re in Tweedledum.”
“Well it appears that your map is wrong.” Lol
I’m much more concerned about the future when “AGI” is actually useful and implemented into society. “We” (the ownership class) cannot accept anything other than the standard form of ownership. Those that created the AGI own the AGI and “rent” it to those that will “employ” the AGI. Pair that with more capable robotics being currently developed and there will be very little need for people to work most jobs. Because of the concept of ownership we will not let go of, if you can afford to live then you just die. There will be no “redistribution” to help those who cannot find work. We will start hearing more and more about “we don’t need so many people, X billion is too many. There isn’t enough work for them to support themselves.” Not a fun future…

If they were smart they would put all of their eggs into squadron 42, make it as good as they can
They did, it’s why star citizen was lagging behind so hard for so long. All the production focus went into squadron 42 like 6ish years ago. Squadron 42 is announced for release next year and since the announcement they turned production focus back to star citizen. Still SC 1.0 is going to be years away still because they’re so damn slow with everything they do…
- Comment on Why we’ve fallen out of love with dating apps 4 weeks ago:
OkCupid.com (founded 2004) asked users a wide range of multiple-choice questions. It then went further by also asking them to specify the responses to those same questions they wanted to see from prospective partners
Yet another example of a feature dumbed down for seemingly no reason… In another comment I mentioned removing features, and this one mentioned here used to have a section for you to elaborate on your response… They removed it just a few years ago for god knows what reason, making that questions section worse…
“Do pets have souls: yes/no”
…well normally I’d say “no” and then elaborate with “because I don’t believe in souls, I don’t think anyone has a soul. We have personalities and I believe animals have them too.”
Now I just look like some heartless psycho “no, animals don’t have souls.”
- Comment on Why we’ve fallen out of love with dating apps 4 weeks ago:
I have been on and off dating apps for over 10 years. I witnessed what they did to them.
Enshittification to the maximum. Sites literally REMOVED useful functions and put others behind paywalls. You used to be able to set tags of interests and search by tags as well to find people into the same things as you, but that stops you from swipe swipe swipe swipe swipe… Swipe swipe is time spent on the app which increases the chance you start feeling desperate and pay them for the increased functionality of… Seeing who likes you… Other sites used to let you actually browse who was near you, not swipe, but have a list of people to look through. That’s not swipe swipe swipe pulling the dopamine lever so gotta give it the axe.
The more difficult it is to use the more likely they are to get you feeling desperate which is how they get you to pay up. No thanks.
