- Comment on How do the Republicans feel about Project 2025 now? 5 days ago:
That’s how they think. They’re not in the same media landscape as everyone else is.
This is literally the cause of all our issues. Fucking propagandists creating an alternate “reality” for Magoos to exist within where they are the good guys fighting the evil evil communist far left scum.
I can blame a Magoo for being so susceptible to hate filled ppropaganda, but I really REALLY fucking despise the propagandists with every fiber of my being. If there were ever a group of people that deserved a firing squad it would be those like Sean Hannity who know exactly what they’re doing…

I was a kid so fairly ignorant of wider issues, but I do miss the 90s where it felt like things would only ever get better…
Then I reached the 2000s and graduated highschool into the Iraq war and it’s only been downhill from there. :/

Cheaper to run businesses was the only truthful part of that… That’s all they care about. Increase profit margins. No company is going to lower prices…

So it will be BAD, fitting…

They do it, but the machines are quite large and they have a gigantic generator in the back just to power the thing lol
So yeah, ridiculous indeed

The ones where I’m from mostly advertise their soft serve, which were the machines I fixed, but yeah they sold hard frozen stuff too.
They really don’t know how to clean their machines though no matter how many times I’ve shown the ones I’ve worked with… :/

Now I never eat from an ice cream truck lol
- Comment on dear republicans, what's the point of alienating every single ally of the US? 2 weeks ago:
American industry at the time, but can that industry recover, and should it? Personally, I don’t think so, but they seem to think so.
I would just say that not everyone is cut out for “advanced” jobs. There is a need for more industrial/mechanical jobs that those of us can occupy and still make a decent living.
I don’t mean that as a way to disparage other people, I’m referring to myself and people like me. I’m far too stupid for tech jobs.
- Comment on DOGE deletes its 'wall of receipts' after massive errors pointed out 4 weeks ago:
It served its purpose already anyway. It got talked about, fox news made it Reality™ and now people think it was real and “positive.”
Actually reality can fuck off, it doesn’t matter. :(
- Comment on Common Ground 4 weeks ago:
Good point lol
- Comment on Common Ground 4 weeks ago:
The right wants the right to self defense, the left wants to lick boots, the right thinks that deporting illegal immigrants is the default, the left thinks that it’s another Holocaust, the right thinks that the government spending less money is good, the left wants the government to burn money like it’s coal.
So yeah… The part about being lied to. Right there. It’s all right there.
There are plenty of gun owners on the left for one and the conversation is pretty much always about the excessive “weapons of war” like assault rifles. Very few people are talking about getting rid of shotguns, hunting rifles, pistols, etc… hell Kamala even said she’s a gun owner, I think she owns a Glock or something.
There is an increase of discussion of actual concentration camps because you don’t need to gas people for it to be a concentration camp. The internment camps for the Japanese in WWII were concentration camps too. The right could help fix the immigration issue if they’d focus on a plan to legally process the people faster that want to move here so there isn’t a 10 year waiting period that makes people feel like they have to enter illegally, but they’re against that.
The last is just straight up nonsense. No one wants to just burn money. We already pay taxes, we want the taxes to help people, not just go to the military and corporate handouts.

“I look forward to the mid-terms and I hope the Democrats get their heads out of their asses, because we could really use the help.”
I have no faith whatsoever that they’re going to win anything. The political persecution will be in full swing before hand and we’ll be having article after article of “xyz Democrat being investigated for (insert excuse here)”
It’s going to be Hillarys emails all over again except this time there won’t even be a grain of truth behind it.

- Comment on Regarding a US Government Shutdown: What's stopping Musk from continuing to fund DOGE with his own money and continuing to tear apart the government while all the federal workers are put on leave? 5 weeks ago:
Because you still need the Senate. The GOP almost always votes as one since it’s almost always about benefiting the rich. When the Democrats “had power” they had 2
Republicans“Democrats” that would always vote against them whenever it was something that would help people that aren’t billionaires.I wish I wasn’t an atheist so I could believe Manchin and Sinema would rot in hell when they die. :/

At the same time, Democrats can’t see idly and do nothing.
Here’s what the Democrats currently have the power to do:

Honestly with the DOJ entirely in Trump’s camp there’s nothing stopping them from doing anything at all. At least nothing that wouldn’t force every military personnel to storm the White House.

Not enough people unfortunately, although I’m sure there is some overlap between those that don’t vote but still watch the news. I think we overestimate how many people are “politically engaged.”
