    I know this is by far the least objectionable thing in that picture, but does anyone find it weird to fly four identical flags right up next to each other like that? Just somehow feels tacky to my mind, like they’re so bunched up that not any one individual one of them is able to actually function as a flag. Maybe just me idk

      Having a union allows them to represent themselves, it doesn’t mean the other parties involved don’t have power. It’s about balancing things out so nobody is getting taken advantage of. Yeah, police unions are a problem, but it’s because the balance of power is out of whack, not because the concept itself is bad. To compare a teachers union to that is laughable, they’re not taking advantage of anyone, they’re holding on by the skin of their teeth.

        I should have provided more, but these unions tend to resist measures to improve educator quality and protect bad teachers.

        former NEA President Reg Weaver commented, “Students must be protected from sexual predators and abuse, and teachers must be protected from false accusations”. He then refused to be interviewed

        The union protected teachers in my schools that had several accusations. I believe it needs reform.

      Obama upgraded the Whitehouse tech, before him it was a complete mess of 70s POTS phones, slow internet, and old even for the time computers. Previous Presidents just didn’t have a fucking clue about anything but smiling and talking.
