Yes. Sort of.
To be honest, I think even I need more education on the topic. But I think it’s more like societies form organically. People pick roles and contribute to society as needed instead of doing a job just because you need to pay the rent.
And it doesn’t mean there’s an absence of rules or laws. And commerce would still function but there would be a specific need for it. And it wouldn’t be just for profit. So that removed a lot of incentive to do bad things.

Then, with that logic, none of the social systems work whether it’s capitalism, communism, anarchism, socialism, etc.
- Comment on This is why Americans hate Socialism. 1 day ago:
That’s not how anarchism works.

Everybody’s hooked on communism.
But what about anarchism?

True. They’re the ruling class’ private army. They don’t count.

Looking at the thread, you can see who the majority of Twitter users are nowadays.
What a shithole social media service.

Yeah but you gotta own the best properties before you do that.

What broke is they allowed housing to be a commodity allowing speculators to bid on.

The Milky Way galaxy is estimated to have 400 billion stars.
Elon Musk would have enough money to give at least 2$ to each star system in the galaxy.
Fuck Elon Musk.

I once found like 200$ in 20$ bills on the ground in a park near my home.
I live in Hochelaga, Montréal. It is the neighborhood with the most homeless encampments in all of Québec.
There just so happened to be a bus across the street that serves hot food and gives clothes to the homeless from the “Dans la rue” non profit organization.
I walked up to the bus and asked if they took donations. They said yes. So I gave them the money.
If I ever win the big prize at the lottery, I’m going to help anyone I can in my neighborhood and my city to find shelter, food and clothes and allow them to be independent so they can get their life back on track.
And I also want to open a grocery co-op in my neighborhood and expand across the province to compete with the price gouging grocery chains in Canada that are responsible for food insecurity and inflation.

Except here, the warehouse, is in cloud infrastructure with international redundancy. It would take a hell of a team of hackers to burn that down.

Number of times trans people knocked on my door to convincing me or my children into questioning my gender and changing it and my views on the topic, vs the number of religious people knock on my door to try to convince me that I’m living a life of sin, that my values are shit and that I’ll burn in hell unless I convert to their religion.

“Listen, your mon had a heatstroke. This isn’t a demonic attack. It’s common knowledge that this happens when doing hard work in extreme heat. I can’t be with someone who’s family believes that demons are behind common medical conditions. In other words: your family is insane and I can’t date you anymore. Bye”
- Comment on I am someone who works out daily and sweats a lot. Just doing laundry doesn't seem to adequately clean the underarms of my shirts. What are some ways to clean these areas of my clothing better? 2 months ago:
The trick is not to wait until the end of the week to do it all during laundry day.
If your nice dress shirt got sweat on it during the day, best to wash it immediately when you get home.

The DS was better than the GBA IMO because it plays GBA games lol. And it had pretty innovative games, too.
