What would happen to the US if it denaturalised and deported all non-whites?

Any country that loses ~40+% of is population all at once is going to have a lot of major issues. Even more so when that population is concentrated in specific industries.

Truth is, if you’re not descended from the original colonists, every African American has lineage in the US farther back.

“White” in America is actually a moving goalpost that has been moving since literally the founding of the colonies. “Whites” today now comprise literally every fair skinned ethnic background that isn’t east Asian.i shit you not, I think Hispanics who are fair skinned will be the next group subsumed into the white category, followed by fair skinned East Asians. Based on the American definition of white, I, darker than some light skinned African Americans, am white. Middle Easterners are considered white.

  Middle Easterners are legally considered white because, I shit you not, the Supreme Court in the early 20th century considered Jesus to be white by definition, and since Jesus was middle eastern, middle easterners must also be considered “white”.

The entire US food, healthcare, delivery, cleaning, packaging, etc sectors rely very heavily on non whites. Civil war over basic resource distribution would break out in days.

  But realistically civil war would break out because people would just refuse to leave. 40% of the US population is non-white, there is no way you are getting 130 million people to just leave the country peacefully.
  
  Especially not when at least some of the white population would be on their side against those in favour of deportation. There’d be massive non compliance.

  the sciences also depend on NON-WHITES, plus programming is predominately whites and asians. white people are often in RURAL areas, and heavily depend on immigrant labor to sustain thier in the dump states.

Immediate collapse. No one would take the deportees long term. There would be a huge swell in support for the deported people, but very rapidly other countries would shut their borders. The only way to realistically deport that many people is to get them to self deport by intimidating them.

I’m not so sure this question is hypothetical anymore.

  Well it’s not the only way. You could also militarily invade a neighbouring country, then forcibly deport people there, perhaps by train, perhaps to some sort of camps

collapse. straight out. Your talking about removing almost half the population at least and then you have what the bar to white is. Palestinian? Israeli? greek? italian? ukrainian? russian? etc, etc.... there have been many opinions on what is white enough right down to the aryan stuff. Then of course there is the final throwing away of any compliance with treatise.

  I want to point out that it is this reason that OP has stumbled on that White Supremacy is a death cult. The answer is that it would start loose and get more and more narrow. A fascist state needs an enemy to rail against. First, in needs to conquer or cannibalize or subjugate; this is the source of its wealth.
  
  You mentioned “the line” but I also want to point out what white privilege is a social construct that has been extended to groups at different times historically. It was extended to the Jews after the Holocaust (Ashkanaz, at least), and I’m fully expecting somewhere down the line the deportation of America’s Jews to Israel (following the forfeiture our property, of course).

The funniest thing about your question is defining 'non-whites.'

Back in the day, any Black ancestor made a person Black; that was so slave owners could sell their children by slave mothers. Thomas Jefferson had a slave wife/concubine/rape victim named Sally Hemmings. She was likely his legal wife's half sister. Sally's granddaughter was 1/8th of less African, but it was considered a scandal when she ran off and passed as White.

The longer any family has been in America, the more likely it is that they are 'non-white.'

It would be literally impossible to pull off.

Trying to deport nearly half the population of the US would require it to be voluntary, and that isn’t going to happen. The sectors that would enforce it already include a lot of non-whites who are complicit because they personally are not being deported. People, especially the non-whites whose families have been in the US from before the US acquired their land from Mexico, would absolutely resist. The non-white population is oppressed, sure, but not to the extent of non-white populations in other colonial locations where a few whites are able to enforce racist laws through violence.

If attempted at the federal level it would implode immediately as multiple states would violently resist due to scale.

Economic meltdown, most of the population has no one that would take them so they will end up either in camps in failed/failing countries or inside the US itself.

Also getting the white population to agree to do it would be a big lift. The majority would passively oppose and a minority would go full on underground railroad/insurgency.

Only a minority would be totally on board.

As someone who’s Chinese American, I’ll have to find a new country. I mean… winnie the pooh isn’t gonna want me back, I don’t even have citizenship in PRC anymore. I mean, I highly doubt they want 5 million westernized people back so quickly.

The first choice I would try is go to Canada, they have a decent ethnic Chinese population and they are English Speaking, so I’ll probably fit right in. But IDK if they’ll be accepting refugees, since the rest of the US non-whites are also expelled abd many would probably go for Canada. Next option is Australia. Then Singapore. Then maybe Taiwan. Wait actually nvm, China is gonna invade Taiwan since the US would have collapsed. EU could also be another option to asylum.

I honesly don’t know where the Black American population is gonna go. I mean, the continent of Africa has been divided so much by European colonialization, that its very hard to track back to an ancestry origin.

Hispanic/Latino Americans would probably go to Spanish speaking South American countries or Mexico.

Also the world could be at risk, since the US would end up as a war zone… Imagine the KKK or other neo-nazi groups gaining access to a nuclear silo…

I think the world is just gonna end up covered in mushroom clouds after a nuke gets lanuched into Russia or China because nazis want racial purification.

So TLDR: One misplaces nuke in the hands of white supremaciat groups and it escalates into Nuclear WW3.

  ccp is also pretty difficult, since they require people to renounce thier citizenship of birth, and ccp being pretty paranoid is pretty hostile to immigrants. unless you a rich white foreigner(china loves white people that serves several purpose, propaganda and use as the face for “companies” to make them more legitimate.

    I guess you didn’t read my comment. I’m Chinese American, I was born in Mainland China. I had PRC citizenship until my mother became a US Citizen and I derived US citizenship from my mother’s naturalization.
    
    I never formally renounced PRC citizenship (althought I didn’t really cared if I lost it at that time, I had zero attachments to China). Its just that under current PRC laws, anyone who acquires foreign citizenship automatically lose PRC citizenship.
    
    But I really don’t want to be in China, I’m not gonna be able to watch most western content that I’m so used to (because of the firewall) so I’m just gonna be depressed af and probably kms. Like imagine you don’t have all the usual entertainment that you have for the rest of your forseeable life.
    
    Also I’d have to relearn the hardest language in the world.
    
    I mean I guess if the US and China goes to war, and if the US already denaturalized me, I would then no longer have any legal or moral obligations in terms of allegiance to the US (this is hypotheticaly speaking… I’m currently still attached to the US constitution, just not the current administration), so I could theoreticaly just re-learn Mandarin and then I could put my knowledge of English to good use and maybe be a translator/interpretor? I mean I’m essentially a native speaker in both, well… minus like 90% of the Chinese volcabulary that I didn’t learn because I immigrated to the US when I was little.
    
    But then again, I’d look for Canada, Australia, and Singapore before I even think of the last resort options like… CCP-Controlled China 😖

First there would have to be a raging and highly politicized debate over exactly who qualifies as “white.” It turns out there isn’t a clear cut distinction there which was a problem for 18th and 19th century bigoted fucks as well.

    That sounds easy on paper but I know plenty of white dudes who work outdoors who are darker on a consistent basis than many Mexicans. Defining somebody’s “whiteness” just based on shade would exclude a lot of people these fuckers don’t want to, and vise-versa.
    
    The list of exceptions would wind up being longer than the rules. Of course we all know that in reality if such a thing were to actually happen, it would ultimately just devolve to fascists playing favorites on an individual basis with inconsistent, ever fluid, and capricious so-called criteria that are just a flimsy excuse to justify disposing of their personal enemies.

  Unrealistic, who would take them? Probably easier to reserve some small bits of land somewhere and let them live there. We can call them Reservides or something. Start off saying they have all sorts of rights to the land and slowly start walking back the rights over the years.

We are talking about 128million non White Americans and that is not including white Latinos. Just to put it into context the Holocaust killed 6million Jews, the Partition of India moved 12-20million people and created a lot of suffering doing so and somewhat similar numbers in displaced people in Europe after WW2(moving borders and the like). Those are some of the darkest chapters of human history and this would be an order of magnitude large then those.

First of all, doing that would create a massive reaction. We are talking 38% of the US population being deported, so a civil war is very much an option.

The honest answer is that a lot of Americans are very well educated and rather rich. So if they would be allowed to leave, then they would be welcomed by other countries. However we are talking about numbers here, which would compeletly change the housing and job markets here. The locals will not like that and close their countries off. Still a good number would make it. At that point the US has two options: Wage a war to take some land for them or kill them. Taking land would lead to hatred of the Americans including the deported. We are also talking about a massive country here and probably a lot of death. Obviously killing everybody would be even worse. There is also the option of pushing them into say Alaska and make that independent. However that is unlikely.

The US economy would be absolutly destroyed by this. If you deport them quickly, it would lead to shortages. Most certainly shortage of workers, which would indeed push up wages. Housing would end up being cheap and people would move to the best cities of the country. On the international stage the US would be widely hated and probably be hit with sanctions(they deport a lot of people and that causes huge problems for other countries). So long term it might actually be good for white workers. However the rich would hate it, due to it destroying their cheap workforce. Short term the US would have massive shortages and suffer a lot.

Even just deporting a larger part of the non-white population would cause a lot of problems.

There are more guns than people in the US, and contrary to belief, they’re not all owned by the magagotts…

What I find most disturbing about the Republican party is how quickly they shift from “small government is good” to “we need more government so we can enact our brand of authoritarianism! But those guys over there? They’re the big government ones!”

Which is nuts, because you can’t have an authoritarian government without a government large enough to enforce said authority!

I’m at the point where I am leaning more and more into the “just burn it all down and start over” side of things.

  That’s been my position for about a decade. Citizens United ended any hope I had that anything would turn us off this path. Corpo fascism has been coming for a long time.
  
  The Constitution is decent but lets rewrite it and leave out all of the glaring oversights/loopholes that cause the government to function by virtue of handshakes, bribes and back room deals.

Remember that at one point Italians and Irish weren’t considered white either. Trump always acts like he wants to take the US back to a certain period of time, but that’s only loosely based off however he’s feeling right now. At any point he’d be liable to say that certain white people aren’t white and just get rid of them, but honestly, he’s already talking about getting rid of Rosie O’Donnell who already left just because she talks bad about him. No other reasons listed, and she’s white, so who knows 🤷
